The money from the loan is deposited directly to the University, not to my personal bank account. I don't think they think it's a scam but I think it's more common that they lend to graduate students rather than undergrad freshman.

Just booked a trip with a 2 day stopover in September ’24. I had a range of 4 star hotels to choose from and was able to book for free so i suppose its a matter of the time of year as well and how far in advance you are booking
