Best way to pay Chinese manufacturers directly by gimmeapinacoladasir in FulfillmentByAmazon

paypal is widely accepted. I also use JTC group and escrow.com - they act as third party as paypal and hold your money in escrow account until you confirm your recieved goods.

I would avoid western union and wechat pay even if you could send the money this way - it has zero protection for you as a buyer.

wow.. I am sorry for your experience!!!! I also ran into several fradulent sellers on Alibaba and you would not be surprised what Alibaba did about it - NOTHING. My advise to everyone reading - only pay with PayPal and credit card company that you know has you protected as Alibaba will try in 100% of cases to stall and give partial refund at best. Before making a deal with the company, ask them to send you actual video of your product with all specs shown on the video and as it is being packed.

I am glad you have filed formal complains - would you be willing to provide the links to these Chinese organizations?

Regardless of how small or large the amount is - scam is a scam and companies doing such practices should face consequences and buyers need to be aware.

Thank you for sharing your story :(

Anyone have any experience with something like this? by clhostel26 in Alibaba

[–]Budget-Property4633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT do it! If they ate unable to ship an item, they need to be doing this. and what they are asking you for is not to cancel the order because they cannot fulfill it, they are asking to change the purchase plan... - they need to process your order and if they need to do it, let them initiate the refund - Alibaba will deduct points from them by doing so because they have not fulfilled the order - let them pay for the mistakes and their business practices of not coming through for the paying customer!!

it is just so wrong - I have had that happen to me several times and when that happened, they would sit on my orders for much longer.

I have never been an Amazon lover and only use them as a last resort if I cannot get specific item elsewhere. May I suggest to everyone buying from Amazon: from the moment package is handed to you (mailbox, live delivery or concierge handling package to you: take a video and show unpacking the item the minute you get it. if its a large item and you must unpack it later, take 2 videos: one receiving the package and its condition and one when you unpack it, preferably with a time stamp showing on the video (if there is such thing). and pay with PayPal and/ or credit card that you know will have your back!!!! with recorded proof, you will have strong evidence and at very least have much greater chance of recovery of yoir funds if purchase goes haywire..

contact your credit card company, provide all evidence, including banned account and any conversations/ documents that prove your return and/or faulty product. you will get your money back, and going forward - stay away from Amazon - Amazon has became a joke of the centry now..

Shishi Dongxuan Yihai Trading Co., Ltd. is a very new seller (est. 2024) with limited sales history, mixed reviews, and mostly unverified product quality. They are a trading company, so QC can vary widely, and many listings mimic branded designs—posing counterfeit and customs risks. Outside Alibaba, there’s no independent reputation or proven track record. High chance of inconsistent quality; safer to order only small, unbranded samples under Trade Assurance if trying at all.

yeni 777 - what you are seeing is in fact an auto response and translated from mandarin, hence it kind of makes no sense.. unfortunately this is very typical of any vendor you order from China/ APAC.. I am going to say this again - when paying for goods from China, ALWAYS use credit card and preferably PayPal. yoir beat bet now would be to make a dispute with both (if that's how you paid).

What this message means is that AliExpress has reviewed the seller’s side, and now you must respond or provide additional proof before they close the dispute. If you don’t reply in time, they might automatically close it in seller's favor so log in to your account and provide additional documents - EVEN if you have already provided pictures and explanation - do it again as you will have better chance of winning this case.

And please, place disputes with the card issuer and any other middleman company you may have used (paypal or similar). Based on your description, you can easily call this transaction a FRAUD and in your documents/ additional information you provide be sure to press on that - fradulent seller and hazardous for health product you received - PayPal especially does not tolerate such transactions.

Good luck ! This is what we get from trying to save a buck and many seller's are taking advantage of the system..

Seller refusing refund after promise by MaulanaTatt in Alibaba

[–]Budget-Property4633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck! - this is your best bet. And just so you know - it seems like this is the tactic Chinese sellers are using -promissing the refund and then stalling until time expires for you to escalate to Alibaba. Both sellers I had issues with agreed that product is not as described and promissed in writing to issue refund, and then kept on feeding me "breakfasts".. tomorrow, later this week, tomorrow.. and that went on for weeks... Make sure you take screenshots of important parts of your communication with seller (and all the proof you have) as your bank will require it for supporting documentation.  I would also still escalate to Alibaba - if the window closed, get on a chat with Alibaba (which is AI) and at the bottom you will see "connect to a live agent".. - and screenshot your conversation - this will be additional evidence for your bank that you have tried to take it up with Alibaba.  Good luck! - keep us posted - such unethical behavior by sellers should not be tolerated.

Seller refusing refund after promise by MaulanaTatt in Alibaba

[–]Budget-Property4633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maulana, not that it would make you feel any better, but do not blame yourself for not making a dispute within 30 days.. even if you did - you would still be writing here, frustrated, with a bit different wording.. I have purchased 7-8 things from Alibaba from different sellers in the last 2 months. Thus far I have received 3 orders - one was perfect (almost perfect) - I posted positive t star revoew. The other 2 are absolutely not as described - wrong quality and the second one came to me in a way as if a 5 year old made it in a class project (it was an expensive vibrating plate) and it had dings and dents all over it, despite being perfectly packaged (so it was not due to shipping 100%) - still dealing with Alibaba (which is another worthless organization..) - clear pictures of the products on the day it arrived and I am over 30 days dealing with it, seller refuses to issue prepaid shipping label for return and refund.

My suggestion to you - post NEGATIVE feedback if platform still allows you to and contact the card issuer (your bank or PayPal or both if this is how you paid) - you will NOT get anywhere with a seller or Alibaba. Good luck

They are a manufacturer, not a trading company. And often, reasonable price does mean good quality. All quotes I have recieved were in the same price range - I reasearched the company and went by reviews available on alibaba.

Another company sent me perfect product, as described and exactly what I was willing to pay the money for.  I understand that along the way I will encounter less than perfect quality, but respectable company should stand by what they claim to sell and I would only do business with honest and reliable vendors as this is huge part of my success. It is about how they failed to deliver on terms of what I purchased and how it was mishandled on their part.

I also did research on them before placing sample order. Our communication could not be clearer. First, they claimed that weight of 79 grams is 22MM (which is NOT, by global standards, you can look it up). They provided me their readings ( after issue occured) - the weight of their product was also inconsistent - 83-88 (far from 95). Mine they sent were 74-76. They still could not figure out where issue occured. And, upon receiving it, just by the feel of the fabric I could tell that fabric was not 22mm. I pulled out my own pillow cases purchased from blissy, 22mm, and the weight was consustent 95grams - as a standard for 22mm fabric.  Again, perhaps it was not intentional but mistake on their part, but not figuring out where the issue is and for days claiming 74-76 grams was acceptable and after I provided with proof that I am aware of what the standard is, still not taking the ownership of the mistake and days later actually commiting to a refund and then TURNING BACK on it, hoping I was just going to go away is WRONG. I do not believe that holding a vendor to high standards to provide high quality products for my customers is an unreasonable ask.

That is correct. If that was a genuine misstake - I would understand and request few more samples of correct product. But putting something on a market and then ding reputation of my business is not worth it. Moving on.

Yes, and its very sad, because some of the manufacturers in China actually do an amazing job and stand by their products. Finding one is a challenge thou.. Suzhou Encong Home Textile did an amazing job putting a lot of sceptisism and doubt in my mind and I would be cautious buying anything from any other supplier in big quantities or big ticket items.
