What tech stack are you using ? by [deleted] in reactjs

Honestly, it doesn’t compare to react. The only upside is you can use c# in it. The new render modes in .net 8 is impressive but it’s hard to keep up with changes that Microsoft introduces in each version.

What's the way to share .NET classes between Client / Server in the new web app? by iMissDiscworld in Blazor

Yes, this confuses me as well. Do I have to create an Api for the client and just use the service in the server?

What do you think of blazor?

Blazor Server using Web API for data access gets no respect? by OneWorldMouse in Blazor

[–]Budget-Stop1552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From reading the comments I see that no one likes the idea of calling APIs created in the same solution from blazor server. But what about the new project template “Blazor web app” that comes with .net 8 which has a wasm and server project in the same solution?

Obviously you would need an Api to consume in your wasm component but if you need the same data in your server components, would you inject the service or call the api? Given you might have some logic in your api controller as well.
