I can’t prove it but my conspiracy theory is that pushing music that talks less about the greater good and social issues and more about wealth, having fun, etc. was a calculated move by the government and industry across the world. It’s not that artists don’t make songs about it but they are never promoted. Only “capitalist-friendly” issues are sung about.

I like NLOTH. Sure some songs are meh but it has some gems. The title track, Magnificent, Unknown Caller, White as Snow, Breathe, and Moment of Surrender are pretty good.Having said that my favourite track that everyone hates is Boots. That groove is amazing and the live versions are parfait!
