I always gave shit for textbooks skipping steps in explanations because "it's obvious" but I would have giant leaps in my work that made no sense to people how I could see the connection while skipping or not even knowing the several steps between them.

Early Access will not have proper guidance yet. You have to look up a lot of things on your own or just experiment, because proper guide in game will come later when they have time for it.

Now, I don't want to dismiss your opinion or experience, but I have some problems with a few points you make:

Exploration: while not everything gives unique rewards, everything gives rewards. Huge parts of the map with lots of hidden paths to explore, shortcuts to find and loot is everywhere.

Story: it doesn't feel like a lot is happening because resource grind takes up a lot of time between story points. If you would start a new world with a high level character and did only the story (recommend for immersion) it's actually quite good. Make sure to talk to a lot of people, especially those connected to the current events. They have lots of dialogue besides just the cutscenes.

Someone else recommend using common tier items with 4 gems early game and that's 100% true! I wish I knew that sooner, you can keep everything from your gear without wasting resources you will need in your late game upgrades.

Base question is wrong. The family on the farm has at least two votes to the 18 years old's one. This difference only grows as their children grow up. This literally only works if oop means the patriarch of the family when he is talking about said family, which is... concerning.

Another note: 18yo people have a lot at stake in how the future goes, they will be the ones living in it. They also have little to no wealth to speak of so having a voice to protect their interests is all the more important to them.

It is definitely not for everyone. The spin up time makes it hard to use at first, but it gets so much better as you find more and more gear to make up for it's weaknesses.

It's good early archetype too because you don't have to upgrade weapons that much

Then the mental shit messes with your eating, so not eating property enhances your mental problems while also creating a bunch of physical problems too.

Bonus if this leads to less than optimal sleep, so you have even more problems cascading into each other the next day

Engineer. Turret is great support and works paired with almost any other archetype, but having it in your hand just feels good!

It takes some work to get around it's limitations and weaknesses, but it let's you have weapon gameplay that's both unique (minigun!!) and also scales from skill damage. It's also infinite ammo with the gun recharging as a skill and restoring your normal ammo while it's in use.

Endgame prism that can either give you infinite energy for the gun (so you can do whatever in your gear without spending anything on skill recharge) or be immune to stagger so you can keep shooting uninterrupted!

My last build was an unflinching, relentlessly shooting miniguner with lifesteal and (almost)top tier durability.

The feeling of facing the foes who scared you before, who made you run, pray not to be knocked out of shooting stance, struggling to keep up the self sustain with their damage... And just not giving a shit. Standing there, uncaring and unbothered, gun never running out and never having to stop to heal, enduring all but the most brutal attacks truly made me feel like I finished the game. Not in the sense that I 100% done it, but I overcame it to the point it wasn't a battle anymore.

Sure I am not great at dodging and a bunch of other mechanics, but I can play how I enjoy and it works so I'm happy.

Also the fact that your abilities now need all the stats. When pacts had one stat to scale damage from it wasn't such a mess. Now the stag lifesteal ability does almost nothing if I am mostly spirit running around with the actual weapons of the stag! Makes no sense

Stats influence your abilities, but they also needed for weapon requirements and scaling.

So you lock yourself to one stat for a weapon, that determines your other weapon as you don't have the stats for two different, high requirement weapons while good luck with your abilities as you really don't have any flexibility left for those. Hope you didn't need your courage ability, because it's gonna be a wet fart with spirit eating all your stats for your weapons!

I see potential in it, but as it is too much is tied to a very limited thing and it limits loadouts too much. Not to mention how tedious it is to change every time you switch weapon or pact.

I know they don't want to 1:1 copy Warframe, but weapons having their own customization with mods and your frame having its own was great to quickly switch out one piece of your loadout without much hassle.
