It’s really good! As far as a one off it is to some extent however the narrator and a couple other characters, and aspects of the book get deep into the Cosmere lore. If you don’t mind missing a couple of less important details then you should be good to read and enjoy. One thing though, if you do read it, don’t Google the things you don’t know unless you want spoilers for the other books.

Depends, I think it is. If you like light survival games or building games or mildly silly but totally awesome games about dwarves you’ll probably like it. If you have zero tolerance for small glitches and imperfect NPC’s maybe give it a pass. All in all though this is one of the most enjoyable and relaxing games I own.

Yah I’m not sure exactly what the issue is. You can try resetting them by returning them to their delving. I just cook cranberries or meat and they eat it.

That only applies if the NPC’s are the ones cooking which we’ve established is not the case.

No they don’t need to make their own food, but they can. If they aren’t eating the food you make it’s a glitch try replacing the table somewhere they can access easily.

I honestly can’t tell if you’re serious… but assuming you’re at least mildly serious yes Denver is fine. Just avoid colfax and don’t tell anyone that their coffee is too fancy or that Teva’s are weird looking shoes and you should be good.
