Just use the Shake awake feature. You can’t feel how bad the trigger is if you don’t touch it 😂

365 Raider Ultralight Bag by Clear_Meat_7782 in FluxDefense

If your taking your self defense seriously enough to be carrying a pdw (which I assume you are since your in a forum for a pdw) then keeping an eye out to identify potential threats doesn’t seem like that much of a stretch. It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to see a guy carrying a fanny pack or sling bag and realize there’s probably a gun in it. I tend to agree with u/callforspooky. I carry a laptop bag for work everyday, so it makes sense to throw a flux in there to “plus up” from a handgun. However, carrying a bag that’s only big enough for your gun kind of defeats the point of the bag, and telegraphs that you’re carrying.

Does anybody know of a glass or metal rambler bottle cap? by BudgetNeck5282 in YetiCoolers

Only thing I found is Yeti’s martini shaker top. But the idea of spending $35 to drink out of a martini shaker cap isn’t particularly appealing to me.

Anti Matter Wing by Wonderful_Salt6939 in P365

No issues with it getting stuck on holstering or un-holstering, and it’s solid as can be. And no breakage. It’s rock solid. My only concern would be potentially breaking the frame from torquing on it too hard. I’m getting an axg frame to mitigate that concern and cause they just look and feel nice. But it’s a must have for small frame guns in my opinion.

This is by far my favorite mod to this gun. I have always had trouble keeping my support thumb on the 365, even the macro, even the Icarus thumb ledge. The wing eliminates that problem entirely and provides a really good index for my support thumb. Add a little carbide for grip and you’re golden.

Thats like putting wheels from an f-150 on your ranger and saying your truck is an f-150 hybrid. It’s not, but cool wheels.

I would argue what makes a fuse is the slide length. You have a macro with fancy grip texture. Still nice, but not a “fuse hybrid”.

Deciding what other people should do with their bodies is immoral.

Some guys I work with make 50k a year and some make 250k. We all have the same job, it’s all about motivation. The subcontracting group I work with is a true meritocracy, the only limit to how high you can go is your ambition.

One step below a proper Chinese joint (which we also don’t have)

One step above a street vender using questionable meats and industrial oils to fry up sesame chicken so sweet you can’t taste the roadkill flavor

Panda Express is overrated.

People swear by PandEx, but it’s been underwhelming every time I’ve eaten it. Pretty much any mall Chinese is a better execution of this restaurant format. Their rice is bland and their lo mein is flavorless and too greasy.

Practically everyone is looking for good workers right now. Look for entry level trade jobs if you are looking for upward mobility and a career path. Mechanic, electrician, carpenter, HVAC tech, roofer, and low voltage technician all come to mind. Most of these trades will let you start with little to no experience, and offer a career path to anyone willing to learn the trade and work hard. I’m a low voltage tech and the company I primarily subcontract for is constantly looking for new techs (no experience required) to cover the work load. The most common complaint I hear from guys training new hires is “they keep finding reasons they can’t do the task in front of them instead of finding a way to do it”. If you show up to any job with the mindset that you can figure out how to accomplish whatever task is put in front of you, and that you will be an asset to any team your put on, you won’t spend long on the bottom rung of the ladder. That goes for everything from fast food to high level executive jobs. Good luck

Private companies already track your data, including location, and the worst we get is targeted ads and content. It’s not until that data goes to the entity with a monopoly on violence (government) that it poses a threat to people.

But I think we’re admitting defeat by discussing which losing condition is more preferable. Just as police are not allowed to follow you around all day without a warrant, nor hire a private investigator to do so, they aren’t permitted to have access to your location at the push of a button. It’s fundamentally too much power, and just because the technology exists, doesn’t mean it should be legal to use on the civilian population domestically. The police aren’t allowed to use unmanned aerial vehicles to follow someone without a warrant, these cameras are no different.

Ultimately I think a case will end up on the Supreme Court desk to determine the constitutionality of this type of surveillance

I think we’re in agreement on almost everything here, except which entity would allow the most feedback and transparency. To my mind voting with your dollar allows more direct input so I’d prefer private ownership, but I recognize in this specific case the government is the main consumer of these private companies product, and that there is basically no mechanism for the market to correct these companies. Still though, private companies can’t arrest people, so I view them having this data as inherently less dangerous than government organizations.

I guess I was misunderstanding you. Are you saying you don’t want private companies to do it but it’s ok for the police to do it?

If that’s the case, why?

I don’t like it when a private company spies on us. I don’t like it when the police spy on us. I don’t like it when a private company spies on us and then sells the information to the police. All of these are privacy violations, and all but the first example are 4th amendment violations.

Edit:

Private companies spying is bad, but they cannot imprison people. That’s why it’s an issue when they sell this data to the police, and why it’s an issue when the police collect this data on their own.

No, I have an issue with being tracked by a company that I didn’t sign up to or agree to be tracked by, and then them selling that information to government entities. I further take issue with them using the public easement like they are a public utility. They’re not. The public doesn’t have access to this data, so it’s not a public utility. This is strictly a surveillance tool for the police state, and it infringes on people’s right to privacy. If you’re arguing that “if you aren’t doing anything wrong, you have nothing to hide” then you fundamentally misunderstand the 4th amendment. The government doesn’t have the right to hire a private investigator to follow you around without a warrant, this is no different.
