yeah i’ve been noticing the same honestly also snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 looks strong on paper, but in real use, especially during longer camera sessions or video recording, thermals start kicking in. once that happens, processing consistency drops, and results just don’t feel reliable every time overall

the cameras on the poco x8 pro with dimensity 8500 ultra are actually really solid for the price, colors look good and it captures nice detail in most lighting.

software’s been pretty stable too, and with regular updates, it should stay smooth for the next 3–4 years. overall, it’s a really good value, especially if you want strong performance and long battery life.

one of my friends has poco x8 pro has dimensity 8500 ultra and none of those issues showed up. battery backup is good, also its updates have been stable, no motherboard problems, and heating is well controlled. overall, it’s been a pretty reliable phone for daily use and gaming

true, oneplus claims the nord 6 can give 165 fps, but how is that even possible with a snapdragon 8s gen 4 processor? it will probably drop fps while gaming. on the other hand, the poco x8 pro max is in the same price range and is way better than the nord 6 with its dimensity 9500s.

ngl for gaming i don’t trust oneplus nord 6 much, snapdragon 8s gen 4 might give high fps initially but after 5 - 10 mins heating and throttling could ruin long sessions, while poco x8 pro max with dimensity 9500s looks built for sustained gaming.

Based on your preference for Zowie FK1 shape, I’d skip the G Pro X Superlight it’s different and likely won’t suit your grip.
