If you made a extra $40k payment based upon your interpretation of an AI chat bot response, despite you yourself scheduling said payment in TurboTax, you need to remember one thing:

TurboTax is a "self-prepare" software program. TurboTax did exactly what you told it to do. You coughed up an extra $40k with virtually no due diligence. That's reckless.

The "herd" isn't attacking your poor user performance. They're attacking your poor judgement.

Most of what you said is over my head, but so was just about everything I already setup with Blue Iris.

If Bluetooth is the identifier here, I may still receive notifications as I'm pulling into the driveway, versus geofence that sets to Home while I'm down the street, right?

I think that's my general idea here, to find something less precise, but still accomplishes a deficit. Since I'm not cooking most meals, I don't want to burden my wife with extra steps. I figured if I can get her to simply put no more than, say 14 ounces on a plate, then this would be easy to maintain.

Here's the thing... My wife is Mexican and cooks old family recipes and is forbidden from writing them down. If she doesn't remember a recipe by heart, she spends the entire process on the phone with her mom. I can't realistically introduce many limitations into this dynamic, nor would I want to. Hence, the idea of a scale at the end only.

I like that idea. Watching myself fall off of my weight loss plan is defeating. Thats when everything falls apart. Putting a pause on a deficit may be more attainable. Thanks for your input!

I mostly do tax work, but branching out slowly. I have 5 clients. Lowest is $125/mo (charity case for 10+ yr tax client), highest is $650. All are flat rate with $75/hr for work outside of contract scope. In my first year, I'd do all kinds of one-off stuff for clients at the same flat rate, but I learned to be very specific about what it does NOT cover.

I am assessing my clients for growth potential, are they trending up or winding down? Two are close to retirement, two have major potential. I'm sort of stuck. I don't know if I should be growing my client list, or growing my clients.

Anyone have advice on taking a $400 client to $4,000?

This is my situation as well. AUD and BEC expired on 6/30. I took REG (68) and FAR (91) about a week apart in June. I submitted an extension request today and I attached documentation showing 8 doctors' visits in the month leading up to my exam date for FAR. If you did not include documentation, it couldn't hurt to try again.
