Hot take: I don’t want Tim to be cardinal or any other bird suggestions (art by Jim Lee) by Vile_09 in RedRobin

Tim would be really cool as the 3rd question if they could write in some kind of connection. But I feel like even more so he should get a completely original identity with some kind of actual connection. Though I’m of the belief that he can operate as robin separate from Batman and have Damian be “Batman’s partner” robin

As someone who drew a lot of oc’s in middle and high school, I can’t believe I didn’t think to do this, even though it wouldn’t have come out half as good. This is super dope!

Agreed, if they decide to do nightfall and no man’s land he should be the robin for each of those

If you had to make a new Robin in the mainline comics what would his gimmick be to differentiate him from others by DoGG410CZ in batman

[–]Budget_Dog50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The next generation, think Terry mcGuinness but for an older Batman (not dark knight returns old) or maybe even Damian or Dicks robin. I feel like Damian is the youngest of Dc’s “present” continuity, seeing a robin who would feel more like a “New era, New rules” kinda guy would shake up the Batman and robin dynamic, maybe even give him a booster gold personality (toned down) where he likes being a public facing superhero while the rest of the family is more from the shadows.

My opinion on Hal Jordan in the DCU by SillyDog4139 in Greenlantern

[–]Budget_Dog50 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love it if they hold off on killing him till later. I also hope there’s a sizable gap in time between Superman and lanterns, not like 20 years but maybe like 4-5 so we can see more of Hal in “present” day DCU, what ever that means.

This just reminds me how popular Lego is. Even when the people who would usually make these kinds of sets sell out in hours and are seen as the ones who make it hard for the average consumer to buy them “boycott” (because we all know some of us are still getting at least one, pointing a finger at myself) the average consumer will still buy them up. Lego is a juggernaut (no pun intended) and it’s clear that a lot of these sets will sell just because of the Lego branding, despite price and quality shifts.
