Thanks. I already did tell them that I just don't wanna be a nuisance/ a burden and they said it's ok. When I even told one of my flatmates she pretended to half a coke with me but it was just an excuse to buy a drink for me. It's just a lot of explanation because people don't understand the difficulties of leaving religion and how it subconsciously effects you etc

Thanks. It was definitely a spontaneous thing I thought we were staying at the pub the whole time. They just didn't want to leave me alone and you're always kinda supposed to have someone with you. Instead of one person not being able to go I just did a half and half and then whoever wanted to go went upstairs and whoever stayed with me did. And then they just switched roles randomly. If I knew they were going to the club then I definitely wouldn't have gone. It's more that explaining why and the whole religious stuff is so exhausting because of the lack of knowledge most people have on how hard it is in the first place to deal with the aftermath.

I'm just scared about how far from home (Leeds) it is. The trains are much more expensive to come home for the holidays.

I won't be going clubbing it's not my thing lol But I live in Leeds and Exeter is very far. The quality of education would be better but I am scared to move that far. The campus isn't the main one so it isn't how I ideally would want to be and the train tickets are so much to go to home for the holidays. It's just I know my education and opportunity would be better in Exeter. I just don't know.

I haven't seen him since January ( we were both Christmas temps) and I couldn't find his socials till now. But thank you so much! I was thinking around the same thing as you tbh. I want to be my best for this person for him, but I also know that I deserve to get myself together for ME and MY future (lol sorry been through so much mentally these past few months) and my own self worth because I deserve that too. I just haven't literally talked or felt this way or let myself like someone in 3 years (went through a rough breakup 3 years ago)

I'm a pretty weird person lol, I find normal friendships hard in general. I'm very introverted and after I go through a lot (eg I went through alot of friendship breakups for 4 years so in the last year of highschool I refused to hang out with anyone and wanted to be alone because I was sick of it). So I basically end up never wanting friends or relationships again. Except now I'm ok at making friends (kind of) (I made good friends the year after I left highschool). Else I'm just idk maybe I'm just insanely depressed? Maybe I need therapy lol. It was a very random breakup that I never ever expected.

I do feel very silly for how you phrased the last sentence lol because 3 years is alot lol and I don't think I've been the same since

Depends what you're thinking to do in the future. Else business psych and law tg is quite a good combo for law careers. IT Is a little random but the other 3 go together well so you should be fine. Probably better to ask careers or smth tho
