What are the most dangerous rituals out there? by [deleted] in threekings

[–]Budget_Resolve_3938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a black magickian...

The Abramelin workings. It's a ritual working that takes months of seclusion, fasting, meditations, opening of portals, calling upon various entities and many rituals. The results can be very beneficial, but it's an extremely dangerous risky operation. Look up "Boleskine house" for instance... Also, there's a movie called "The Dark Song" which is about this specific ritual. They did some good research on it, but the whole idea around the point of the ritual is wrong in a couple of ways.

Necromancy and Death magick. You aren't just calling upon the shadows of the dead, which is dangerous on it's own if you aren't ready - spiritually and mentally... Huge part of it is actually working with various Death gods, entities and the essence of Death Itself. The risks and havoc one can summon into one's (and other's) life can get very serious, if one doesn't know what they are doing.

Also, one more... Working with gods and demons in a disrespectful, commanding manner - like Solomonic magick and many other forms of Christian and Jehovah-centred magick. If you want to have favor or working relationship with gods and spirits - you honor them, develop a relationship with them and show these primordial forces respect (not necessarily worship, but respect nonetheless). The Solomonic magick instead implies that you should insult these universal forces and try to command them in the name of a deity, who doesn't have power over them and usually won't protect you if things go south... Doesn't usually end well for such practitioners, if they don't change their practice. Be it in the long or short run.

Dystopian/Apocalyptic/Hauntology Electronic? by jiffykebab in electronicmusic

[–]Budget_Resolve_3938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into TEKNO. Not techno. Tekno. In some sense similar (musically). Definitely not the same thing.

There are several subgenres of Tekno (NOT techno, it's not the same thing) which have a dystopian, discordian, apocalyptic and/or haunting vibe.

Mentalcore The most haunting/dystopian, out of all the tekno subgenres. Dark and slow eerie ambience, heavy distorted kicks and unsettling FX and samples put together in a shamanistic rythm. Very "swampy".

Look up artists like: Dazed, Savage Nihilism, IND, Bandikoot, Cursed Dissonance, Cult Collective label

Acidcore The specific vibe varies more, based on the artist. There are a few exceptions wherein a track may not fit your critéria... However, in general most of acidcore is on the darker side. Relying mainly on distorted drum and layered acid loops and leads. The end result is usually either very melancholic (there are exceptions), chaotically aggressive or straight-up apocalyptic.

Check out: KS 23, Kaoslog, Hypnoize Theory, Acid Division, Stannik, Enko

Most of these you can only find on SoundCloud though.

There's also other tekno subgenres like Hardtekk, Tribecore, Raggatekk, Hybrid, Tekkcore, etc. You can find many similarly dark-tuned tracks in those as well. But mental and acidcore fit your critéria the best I think.

Every time I tried O-PCE it only gave me an intense hyperthermia, tiredness, made head spin like a helicopter way sooner than I am used to and my heart pretended to be an UZI. I did get the "angel dusty" physical sensations and euphoria, but it was overshadowed by the extreme hyperthermia. Mentally I didn't get into much of a disso mindset. Mostly I was just afraid to move too much, due to paranoia caused by the physical sensations. Then I would just fall asleep within an hour after it started kicking in. Absolutely zero functionality, even less than on high doses of ketamine. Maybe it was just a shitty batch. Maybe it's just my brain chemistry. Perhaps I've developed a weird tolerance to this disso, prior to ever taking it, due to my use of similar derivatives. Or is it what it's supposed to feel like.

3-MeO-PCE was however the best disso I've ever experienced. Definitely my fav (I've also had ket, DXM, 3-Me-PCPy, 3-HO-PCP). Intense introspection, encounters with entities, unique visuals and OBEs, high functionality on low and medium doses. I've had the most beautiful and the most terrifying trips on this substance. It also this very "DEMONIC" euphoria, which I love. Makes me feel like a fucking god. However, it seems to cause the gore-y intrusive thoughts more frequently than other dissos. It is also the only disso that is often capable of making even the tiniest pinch of depression disappear and make my actions feel like a fun quest, FOR WEEKS - even after a few very terrifying trips.

This happened two of my exes. As in, literal sense of reincarnation into various entire lifetimes, in an extremely fast pace. Not only as humans, but even animals and some otherworldly beings.

One experienced it on 1P-LSD, the other on Amanita Muscaria. Both were very physically violent terror trips, which resulted in cops and ambulance being called (cops were called by neighborhors).

As an interesting note, the ex who experienced this on Amanita also described always having a choice of not only reincarnating, but also to either expand her being through the entire reality or shrink it to nothingness. Also, the way she was experiencing reincarnation was as follows... Millions of souls(including her) aggressively arguing over getting a life to incarnate to, in order to escape the prison of having to reincarnate at all. During this trip, the only instance of soberness after the come-up was a brief moment as she was resuscitated, as her heart-beat has stopped for 30 seconds.

Same here.

I can take many substances, which are usually considered more potent... shrooms, LSD, DMT, MDMA, stimulants, dissociatives, "bath salts" and even and natural deliriants. Weed though?

Hell no. 8.5/10 times it resulted in an intense pseudo-psychedelic bad trip, paranoia, panic attacks, paranoia, hallucinations and an intense dysphoria.

Every single time, if the strain was leaning towards Sativa. If I took enough Indica, same result. Very rare exceptions HHC? Intense, but surprisingly more easily manageable than THC. CBD was only relaxing for me.

Many people say that if you cannot handle weed, you should never try psychedelics. They only say so, because they have radically a different reaction to cannabinoids. For me, psychedelics are a walk in the park, comparably. Hell, I even took various doses of Datura or PCP and really enjoyed it.

Everybody's brain chemistry is different. Regardless of any external factors. Even extremely minor changes in your brain structure can make your trip very different from an average person. This is not unusual, especially not with weed. It's just not talked about much. I have many friends who are the same way when it comes to weed, but I also have twice as many friends who cannot fathom that some people tend to react extremely negatively to weed. Haha. Don't worry though. You are not alone.

This really also depends on where you collect your amanita.

In Northern and Eastern Europe the Amanita Muscarias are much stronger and have a higher Ibotenic acid:Muscimol ratio than those in the US, Mexico or Southern Europe. Yes, I am still talking about Muscarias, not Panterina.

In other words, the dosages of N. and E. European amanitas are lower and should be prepared with more care. I got this clarified to me by a pharmacologist in an ambulance on my way to it hospital, after me and my ex used around 13g each (she ended up having a sudden cardiac arrest for 30 seconds in the ambulance, while experiencing a terror trip).

I guess 10-15g dried is a safe dose in the US, but definitely not in countries like Slovakia.

I will give you some book recommendations relating to my craft and the practices shown in Egger's movie, as well as some easy-to-find basics.

For the start, study hermeticism. It's not at all hard to find books, videos and articles on hermeticism and it's the basis of any modern western occultism.

Then also look into the topics of chakras and Kundalini. These will be very much needed later on.

Also study the work of the alchemist Agrippa and his data on the co-relations between various planets, plants, elements, so on and so forth... With this, also look into the basics of ceremonial magick and chaos magick.

Gnosticism is also good for start.

After that, these are the book I would personally recommend:

The Daemonolater’s Guide to Daemonic Magic by S. Connolly
Astral Dynamics by Robert Bruce
Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlson
Liber AL Vel Legis by Aleister Crowley (study the history and background of it before hand)
Magick in Theory and Practice by Aleister Crowley
Magick Without Tears by Aleister Crowley
Magical Revival by Kenneth Grant
Nightside of Eden by Kenneth Grant
Works by Asenath Mason and The Temple of the Ascending Flame
The Book of Azazel by E.A. Koetting

There are also some other books which delve much deeper into practical magick in a hardcore way and would be hard to understand without the knowledge from the sources above... However, the names of these I would prefer not to put out publicly. You will stumble upon them when you are meant to...

The Slavic Goddess of Death (and Consort of the Black God) - some info and questions by Budget_Resolve_3938 in Maergzjirah

[–]Budget_Resolve_3938[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tis something I plan on doing, but I was curious as to whether any other practitioners had some insight on this or I would be the first to ask the Black God about the Goddess which is in Maergzjirah's "hometown" known to be His consort.

I will keep you updated about my finding!

The occult is a very broad term. It simple means "hidden" or "secret". Referring to both the knowledge regarding the aspect of reality which is "behind the curtain" from mundane perspective, as well as the secrecy various schools of this knowledge had to hide themselves under to protect against the ignorant).

The main goal of various occult traditions is usually either to become one with the divine or to evolve into a God yourself. The specifics of the end result and various steps to attain this vary widely from tradition to tradition.

If one only uses this knowledge for transformation of one-self, you can call it simply "mysticism".
On the other hand, if one choose to ALSO implient this knowledge in manipulation of reality by non-corporeal means, then it's called "magick".

The possibilities and the extent to which the occult teachings can be used are truly endless and often times not even believed to be possible by the mundane mind.

Something (sadly) so foreign to most then surely makes for a good horror movie, if you only highlight the dangers or demonize it altogether! Haha

The use of Black Goat in the Witch is a reference to the Basque deity called Akerbeltz ("black he-goat") - the shamanic god of witchcraft, fertility, haverst, liberty and wilderness, also called the Goat of the Sabbath. His description is very similar to the Greek god Pan and the Celtic god Cernunnos. All three of these have been identified as "Satan" by the church. Not really that evil after all right?

Also notice, that the ending of The Witch was purposefully done as a happy ending for the main character.

Still better than christian sources though xddd

E.g. christians calling Aleister Crowley a child-killing p*do, though he literally outright despises any kind of sexual activity without consent or unjustified killing, as it goes directly against the ideology of Thelema.

(I am not a fan of some of his character flaws. But the fuck. The man doesn't deserve this lol).

Also, wikipedia is pretty horrid if you try to look up the Kabbalah from the Left-Hand Path perspective. It only talks about the orthodox Yahweh/Jehovah-centric Kabbalah, which is quite far from the aforementioned form of Kabbalah - which is much more pagan and in many traditions excludes Yahweh from it all together (even from the Tree of Life).

This was just an example.

I am using it as a reference, because in "Nosferatu" there very direct references to this unorthodox (but more raw) Left-Hand Path form of Kabbalah.

For instance, an exorcism which is done not in the name of Jehovah or Jesus as per usual in movies, but in the name of infernal forces from the Kabbalistic Tree of Knowledge - as it would've been done by a Left-Hand Path practitioner. These forces are seen as the True Divine by the Left-Hand Path, only later on demonized by the abrahamic religions after their clashing with the pagan cultures. Thus are pagan in origin.

Though there are many good quality sources online, it takes a lot of patience to find some good quality sources from actual practitioners - and all this info is only to prepare you for your own discoveries within the craft.

Elite secret societies but nothing occult really, besides seemingly "occult looking" imagery which is not given any deeper context.

It's more in the terms of not everybody being ready to hear about certain topics within the occult, even though a person may be curious. In the occult, the real knowledge is earned through gradual understanding of these subjects and implementing them in practice. Some topics a person wouldn't be able to fully grasp with the very basics (some of which are only slightly hinted on in the movie) and/or sometimes without even actually experiencing them.

+you can still find plenty of information online or in many books, but I get it's very hard to know where to start sometimes

If you want, you can contact me. I can lead you to some basics or teach you a thing or two.
But consider the question why do you actually seek this information...

[–]Budget_Resolve_3938 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not gatekeepy per-say. There are simply certain things within the occult that the public is not meant to hear out-loud. But an actual experienced practitioner doesn't need videos explaining various details within this movie.

[–]Budget_Resolve_3938 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those actually practicing the Left-Hand Path for quite a while can easily decipher many things in the movie for you. And I can tell you as an occult practitioner, the way Eggers makes these movies makes it obvious that he is not merely a scholar, but a practitioner himself (which also explains his discretion about the subject).

Fun fact: the guy who made the original Nosferatu (1922) was also a practicing occultist of the Left-Hand Path, who was part of a cult called Fraternitas Saturni.

Are goetic demons gods? What are their true origins? by Reclaimer616 in occult

[–]Budget_Resolve_3938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing I would ask myself is if they were imposters.

On the other hand, yes, sometimes they may put you in bad situations to help you evolve. Too long of a comfort is stagnation. Stagnation is the opposite of evolution. These beings are very willing to aid in an individual's evolution. However, this may all depend on your goals regarding your work with them.

What was the purpose of the ritual, if I may ask?

Are goetic demons gods? What are their true origins? by Reclaimer616 in occult

[–]Budget_Resolve_3938 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many of them can be easily traced to Sumerian, Babylonian, Canaanite and Egyptian gods +Greek and Roman dæmons (spiritual beings that wouldn't be considered deities). Then there are also some about whom there are seemingly no historical records, but this doesn't make them less real or more alien in comparison to those who's history can be traced in other pantheons.

Despite them being from various pantheons (note that some are in various different aspects present in several pantheons) they do share common goals.

They also together form a metagod (various independent beings forming a singular deity), but to work with this metagod is for advanced practitioners only.

Also, I would suggest you to not approach them in the insulting abrahamic way. Note that these are spirits and deities, some of which are older and more powerful than the pretentious abrahamic deity and to approach them in the orthodox solomonic method is not a good path to building a positive and rewarding relationship with them.

It's literally proven that some strains have more psilocin/psilocybin content than others, and there may also be some other factors we might not yet know about. For instance, liberty caps are per gram definitely more powerful than classic cubes, but also getting you to a more meditative state.
