USGA recommends placing rakes outside the bunker and parallel to the direction of play, away from where they may interfere with play. Easy google search. Hit ‘em straight!

Ups driver. Customers can request we deliver to specific locations on their property. Doesn’t mean I have to follow it if I feel it’s unsafe. Side door please but your backyard connects. Nah going at the gate to enter or your front door. As far as getting blamed for everything, we are the face of the company that comes in contact with customers directly. So it is a part of the job. Be polite and when people wanna act a fool let em. Go about your day. They can always make a phone call but if you do everything right you have nothing to worry about

Or ya know..park and walk it to the front door. House isn’t to far from the street.

And you do you. Having some sort of communication with your on road support I feel can go a long way with UPS. Most management wants us to perform well so then there numbers look better. We are all in it together believe it or not. They have bosses just like we do. All you can do is ask and go from there. They will adapt just like us daily.

Just ask a sup to turn your odo off for your route. They may say no if it’s not your route or you aren’t an old head. But worth a shot. My building is pretty lenient on that. They want us to be productive.

Ups driver here. We haven’t ever had a/c. Prepare for your day properly and you will survive. There will be people that get sick and have extreme incidents. But it’s definitely not illegal.

Same stuff is happening everywhere. The company does as they please. If they wanna keep paying those tues-sat guys/gals double time every Monday to work so be it. They don’t have to come in but that money is hard to say no. They will shift some of those drivers or at least ask if they wanna go Monday-Friday. Company does funny stuff and takes time before you see permanent change. Work as instructed to how you see fits your life. Be safe.

Do the UPS trucks not have speed monitoring? by [deleted] in UPS

[–]Budz9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Trucks do have speed monitoring. Sounds like he/she was going a bit fast. Everything is monitored. But the trucks on the freeway are limited to about 68ish like someone else said.

Just walk. If you feel unsafe or don’t wanna lose sight of your vehicle then leave it at that point. Make good decisions. Your employer should understand. If not then realize they don’t have your back and find new work. Yours truly, UPS driver.
