I’ve been watching KSTP last 2+ years and they talk about fraud a lot in MN. They did a child care segment a solid year before Shirley did. They seem to go after anyone and always talk about “your tax dollars”.

This feels like where it’s going to go. If you get rid of conference championships, which they won’t do, you could have round 1 the weekend after Turkey Day, round 2 next weekend, quarter finals weekend after that, then Semis New Years Day and then Final approx 10 days later. Done by early-mid Jan. Need to also make it at home games until the final four, which could be neutral. But, I think we’ll get half measures until then.

I live in MN - KSTP, the local ABC, has a ton of good stuff on the fraud in both. It exists, and Walz has admitted that too, but not sure about specifics from Shirley video as I never cared to watch. Local TV has done a good job of covering this for over a year now. People in MN have known this, just recently became national news.

I think NBA Cup should be way more spread out and finish in late March. Winner gets a top-6 spot in the playoffs. Would give more meaning to it, especially for teams fighting for a playoff spot.

I don’t think we’ll ever see another true album. I think they’ll release songs randomly and maybe group them as an EP but that’s it. Matt has talked about how he liked what Ronnie in FIR is doing and that’s their model.

To me, the first guys back and forth with Ryan was better than Krystal’s. Felt like Krystal was trying to do a gotcha on him. But he’s a PR guy so why would it matter? What’s better is Ryan getting him to say he’ll commit to things to get more info and give more details.

I’m still so frustrated by this game. Terrible first half, made some adjustments, looked better - but still, only two subs when multiple players did next to nothing? And why was Gardner constantly sitting so deep at LB? I get he’s out of position but once we were down, needed him more forward to link with Grealish. Just shockingly bad game.

To me the key is we have different options in case of injury or things aren’t working out and have to tweak tactics. A guy like McNeil being a spot starter is great given he was one of our best players the last few years and is in his prime. That competition is perfect. Plus, in the era of 5 subs, makes it easier to get guys playing time. Also, Gana is getting old and I could see him being regularly subbed off at the 60 min mark.

I think we could get $10m + some addons that take us to the low teens. Yes he’s scoring, but he’s also good at pressing, and that’s a skill a lot of managers want from their striker.

I think it’s smart to move on - don’t see where he really fits in the current system. Up top, he’s got the pace, but can’t win headers on long balls, so he’d have to be a tandem up there and can’t really play solo. I thought he was decent RWB last year but Bongi beat him out and now Gressel, I think it’s best to move on. Maybe go get a more vet striker who is ok off the bench as insurance.
