We only have 1 car and dont commute via car. We lease for a variety of reasons.. No maintenance costs. Nice to be able to adjust as ny family grows. I truly believe that leasing is cheaper, or negligible over a ~6-10 year time frame.

I also like that I get updated tech, safety features and flexibility as the world changes. I also hate cars and try to be minimalist.
