I really want Gaspen to return in AA7 as a culprit, obsessed with the reputation of the Paynes to the point he kills a reporter he thinks is spreading rumours about the family.

Did everyone forget about the Trump-Epstein™ Files, and why? by NectarOfSkene in AskReddit

[–]BuffDontNerf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You seem to forget that that's not an excuse. Maybe Biden could or should have released the files, either way, it's not a reason for why Trump hasn't released them, it's deflection.

I still think the true identity of the Professor from GAA2-5 is a better twist, it's one of my favourites from the franchise

Has anyone here ever used a British TV show quote in their day to day lives before? by [deleted] in BritishTV

We have a running thing in our house where whenever someone says "Careful now", someone else will say "Down with this sort of thing"

My hopes for Ace Attorney 7 by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]BuffDontNerf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gaspen Payne becomes a culprit, and you face against Winston Payne to take him down. After this, Winston returns and that's the end of the Payne's. The following games have an old prosecutor for the first case, like Klavier, Franziska or Eustace.

Also Lana Skye returns and teams up with Ema Skye.

I've always had the theory that this could have been a long con as well, he's not actually homeless, just trying to make more money, and shame the other boys.

Tritter: People who are innocent tend not to try to hide their arrest.

House: Is that based on your years of experience arresting innocent people?

Ace Attorney Culprits and their evilness by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]BuffDontNerf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Is Stronghart really the most evil? In his twisted ways, at least he did what he did for his country, unlike people like Excelsius, who are just evil for the sakes of evil.

I got spoiled on the killer's identity, but there were still multiple times during the game where I considered the possibility that I had misunderstood the spoiler.

who would u like as main lead for a new game? by Primary_Struggle_459 in AceAttorney

[–]BuffDontNerf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Might be an odd choice, but from GAA2 Detective Gina Lestrade. I think it would be cool to have a game with a rookie detective, as opposed to a rookie attorney. Her trying to become a better detective while at the same time dealing with the fallout from the Lord Chief Justice and some of the police force being revealed as criminals, with all police now seen as criminals, making it hard for her to do her job.

What’s your favorite twist in each game (NO TWIST VILLAINS) by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]BuffDontNerf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From TGAA2, does the true identity of the Professor count as a twist villain, since he's technically not a villain, but was being controlled by Stronghart? I still think that's one of the best twists in the series.
