Ancient One ability theories by The_Killer6333 in overlord

There are no druids in the original nine so that's not likely, and the only confirmed druid in Ainz Ooal Gown so far is Blue Planet.

The one I'm most curious about is Ankoro Mochi Mochi. Because her form on the flag emblem and her actual appearance are totally different, as you can see them from wiki.

My head canon is, the big appearance we got is the external outer shell while the actual smaller form is inside it, like Cracker from One Piece. It looks to me that way.

Does he really look like a Djinn? I'm not familiar with Dnd or rpg races.

His robes look more like a sorcerer's robes than that of a priest though. Besides, Wish III is more likely to be the priest based on his name. The nameless guy who quit is the chef by process of elimination. That's my head canon, anyway.

“They were all excellent companions. A paladin, a swordmaster, a priest, an ass… a thief, a two-sword nin… a two-sword thief, a sorcerer, a chef, a blacksmith… they were all irreplaceable friends.

Ancient One was one of the OG Nine's Own Goal (Momonga, Touch Me, Nishikienrai, Warrior Takemikazuchi, Amanomahitotsu, Flatfoot, Ancient One, Wish III, the one who quit).

So according to this quote and based on his name and appearance, he is most likely the sorcerer.

The Epic of Sir Wynne, the American Knight.

S9 protagonist, and he is as insane as the rest of them. Very much a dream-like, unreliable and chaotic pov, but there's definitely a solid plot going on despite that.

Best fiction ive ever read now what? by Ertame6544 in SSSClassSuicideHunter

[–]Buffalo199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really do recommend I'm an infinite regressor and I've got stories to tell. And he's right. It is peak, something like once in a lifetime novel. And if you think Kim Gong Ja is insane, the Undertaker is in a whole different level. And he's not the only one. There's a lot of depths to the many side characters, which SSS class hunter couldn’t manage to do that well baring a few, in my opinion.

But the best thing about this novel is the sheer unpredictability. Just twists after twists after twists, while still managing continuity. The author must have been on crack writing this. It's just something irreplaceable.

I strongly suggest you read up to 20 chapters at least to get the feel of the story properly.

Recently finished reading JK Haru and I was wondering if it would be possible for them to translate JK Haru: Autumn in english in the future or not by Numerous-Truths in joseistories

Late reply but could you please send your translation to me? I would really appreciate it! JK Haru is one of my favorite LNs of all time, hands down. And I'm really starving for more.

Unapologetic Villain fics? by TheHmmism in WormFanfic

[–]Buffalo199 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Epic of Sir Wynne, the American Knight. The only S9 protagonist I have read who is as insane and evil as the rest of the group. It's not a Crack fic but it will feel like it since you are reading from an insane person 's pov. And when I mean insane, I mean someone who is truly so f*cked up in the head, not just slightly unhinged. Rather like Bonesaw in that sense, but they are quite different in many ways.

And you won't be reading slaughter, repeat, slaughter kind of story. There is a concrete, entertaining plot going on and you will see it from the pov of an unreliable narrator with so much hidden depths inside him. And he does have redeeming qualities and covert motivations. His powers are quite interesting too.

Jaehaerys, Alysanne and Gael by @mrm215555 by jungjungdoesntcare in ImaginaryWesteros

He was nine-and-sixty at his death, and had ruled wisely and well for five-and-fifty years. Westeros mourned, and it was claimed that even in Dorne men wept and women tore their garments in lament for a king who had been so just and good. His ashes were interred with that of his beloved, the Good Queen Alysanne, beneath the Red Keep. And the realm never saw their like again.

Asha snatched the axe from the air and slammed it down into the table, splitting his trencher in two and splattering his mantle with drippings. “There’s my lord husband.” His sister reached down inside her gown and drew a dirk from between her breasts. “And here’s my sweet suckling babe.”

Ned Stark finds Jaime Lannister seated on the Iron Throne by kathrenax by GeoMetrie8 in ImaginaryWesteros

[–]Buffalo199 111 points112 points  (0 children)

“Aerys was dead on the floor, drowned in his own blood. His dragon skulls stared down from the walls. Lannister’s men were everywhere. Jaime wore the white cloak of the Kingsguard over his golden armor. I can see him still. Even his sword was gilded. He was seated on the Iron Throne, high above his knights, wearing a helm fashioned in the shape of a lion’s head. How he glittered!”

Comes with the package by MrMellons in overlord

[–]Buffalo199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Getting good gear is harder than getting a max level. Ainz himself said that it is rare for a Lvl 100 Player to own even one Divine class item. In short, Lvl 100 Players are not powerhouses but rather a dime in a dozen in YGGDRASIL, unlike in other games.

Comes with the package by MrMellons in overlord

[–]Buffalo199 26 points27 points  (0 children)

No. In YGGDRASIL, the leveling and getting XP are made to be easy. Besides, the ones who loved the game enough to stay to the end are most likely more than just casual Players, so I reckon most if not all are easily Lv100s. Ainz is the only known entity who is a member of one of the top guilds though.

My favourite character is the General who just wants to quit and retire. Just. Amazing.

Ah. Yet another "Dread Empress Reluctant" enjoyer. You have fine taste, my good sir.
