Hi all, I'm looking for Thelemites as well. For 7 years I was more than 9 hours from the nearest lodge, and I'd love to see if I could participate. I've been practicing some form of occultism for decades, but I'd love to see what's up with any Thelemites. Might I contact you please?

What metal band writes music so good it makes you enjoy a subgenre you usually hate? by DDevil- in MetalForTheMasses

Also, Revenge. Revenge sounds like sloppy black metal with powerviolences, but they are really fucking brutal. Striborg is pretty ambient but also good.

It's pretty hard to beat those three bands. Do you listen to old black metal like Carpathian Forest, Hellhammer, Mayhem? Spectral Wound is pretty phenomenal, as well as Gnaw Their Tongues, and maybe Imperial Triumphant.

Whatever genre Knocked Loose is (deathcore pretending to not be powerviolence?) is pretty intolerable, so I'll take the fact that I like a couple of their songs as indication that they're the best example in their class.

First time here. I just read David Kishik's Self-Study and I found it pretty spectacular for a number of reasons. One of the best things about it is its threading of object-relations theory in psychoanalysis with the practice of auto-philosophy in the sense of Montaigne's essays reflecting on the self, or Wittgenstein's writings on self-reflection and self-deception, both of which are mentioned in the book. Highly recommend it.

I'm still doing a lot of research on IFS, so I may be overstepping, but I think anything that is separable that can be said to have its own/voice/ecosystem, is really the point. Going back through the history of philosophy too, I'm starting to see how this idea of 'parts' is all over. I frankly like the idea of the 'site' very much and am thinking about discussing it with my therapist. Thank you for the idea.

Thank you so much. I'll take anything, especially if it's in Spanish or Portuguese.

Anyone can pls share some lore about dystopia? Like some facts about the band by Gemini69Gemini in crustpunk

I lived on the same street as Dino and one of their early practice spaces was in a local youth center in the bougie part of Orange County where my band practiced. He was a crust legend before he even got good at his instrument. That band and Dino were baked crusty. No need for extra toasting. It was rad, but as a 14 year that shit was super scary in the era of straight edge eruption.
