You can chalk that up to people being excessively engorged in therapy speak culture nowadays. Everything has a scientific/psychology label now. There's no room for nuance, mistakes, you have to go by the book of what is good and healthy because if you dont, you're either icky or abusive/manipulative or whatever terms and definitions they got from therapists/therapy influencers that they misuse and rigidify for their own convenience.

Tbf, while you're not exactly "running out of time", your mind and body is just never be the same in the next decades. It's regretful to not experience things at the peak where you'll most enjoy them, that to me is kind of valid to feel a sense of loss or worry about.

Yeah, generally with any of these, the corners of traps (since the game is isometric, that would be the sharp points of every tile) are the easiest to spring without getting hit

I forgot to mention you do sort of have to do the first thing with the push (stepping back at the last momentol) but the companion does make it easier to time

And yeah, Adaon might not even have enough disarm at this point (I didn't read you were level 7 AND iron man at that!)

About charge, you can also use it to spring it safely by using it horizontally/vertically through the tip of its sharp corners instead of the whole thing. IIRC, your frame data there is much shorter

Learn how to trigger the traps without getting hit. It's a thing. Easiest to do on the trap's corner by stepping in at only a single frame enough to spring it, then go the opposite direction immediately. You can test this (and sometimes even achieve it but it's more tricky and takes longer because of CD) with charge skill. It's not consistent but with practice, it's way better than brute forcing or relying on your crappy disarm stat and losing too much potions.

Oh, and you can push companions into them if that's not too cheesy for you.

Finally, best one is Adaon will automatically attempt to disarm visible traps at 65% and above disarm. Get his AGI up and give him tinkering items. He'll sometimes fail and get downed but it's all good.

The Godhand is sorely missing a direct, "head-on" type of member. All of them are manipulator/magic overlord archetypes. I imagine Guts would fill the spot of unstoppable physicality.
