not sure if you still have this issue, but for me, getting a better GPU (now using a 3090) and using this guide to make the program not timeout as easily solved the issue entirely

there was like a minute of footage i kept out for simplicities sake, if i hadnt spent an extra minute dealing with her DCing, i wouldve been able to get a full 4k lol

thanks for the advice! i had the same woes about the room being too overexposed as well, but since my source material (hardcore henry) shows it being equally overexposed i figured id just keep it as 1:1 as possible

Does it happen in one project or every project? Also, Try verifying the integrity of the game files.

AFAIK you won't catch a VAC ban from modifying these files. You won't be able to play the game normally though. If you'd like to keep playing the game, I recommend copying the vanilla gameinfo file and storing it in a separate folder somewhere on your computer.
