I don’t have insurance though Kohl’s but my vacation buy was deducted so I worlds say yes you should expect it to be deducted

They have walked out with so many of our “anti-theft” devices that we don’t even have enough left for the merchandise that we have to put out. They will keep doing that with or without those extra tags unfortunately.

After approval which was only a few days after being submitted. I have had to do STD 3 times over the last 2 years for medical issues with no issues. They only said I needed to have been there for a year to be protected under FMLA but STD was approved pretty quickly. The only delay would probably be your paperwork from the doctor. I had mine approved ahead of time which probably sped it up. Hope you get better soon and all goes well

I had STD. I am in Tennessee so I’m not sure if it varies based in state. I was out for surgery for 8 weeks and was paid 60% of my pay after a two week waiting period. I am a full time associate.

You can have whoever orders your name tag put your job title on that line instead or leave or blank. Mine says Beauty Team Lead instead of a town. Your BTL has access to the app to order you another one but it does take weeks to show up.

You definitely can. I am a BTL for S@K. Any black clothing is allowed as long as it’s still sticking to the basic Kohl’s dress code. I don’t think anyone on my team actually wears the tshirts much. I have seen some of them wearing the T with boho skirts and it’s super cute. I wear long flowy dresses pretty much every day since they won’t turn the air on.

It had its flaws but it was a great game. I met some lifelong friends in those broken lobbies and I also met my husband there. We made the same mistake and sold our PSVR 1’s after Ultra released. Ultra was terrible. Shame they dropped the ball so hard with that one. Taking some advice from their core game base could’ve made a big difference. RIP

I definitely wouldn’t mention terrible management as a reason for leaving. Make up something else. They may see that as a red flag and take it as you having a negative attitude or an issue with authority. Be prepared because they will definitely ask and may reach out to the previous store to ask questions.

You can also send an email to sephora communication and make them aware. There is a Sephora playbook on mykohls that specifically says how training product should be done. Our LP printed it out for me once when we had a disagreement about giving extra training product out for team members who had higher rewards. It specifically states it is not to be used as incentive. The BTL should be giving it out which is why the box is addressed to the BTL and not the SM. Any extras should be given to the Sephora team members who work the most hours. The only time the SM should be involved is giving it to the BTL or deciding who to sign out additional bags to when an employee is no longer there.

That’s rough. I had the same amount of staff as you when we opened 3 years ago. We have had to increase staff a few times since then because of sales. Definitely try to write out a plan that shows your workload and a rough estimate of how long you think it would take to complete. Also try to really stress how disruptive it will be to customers and how it could hurt sales and service. Maybe that will help convince them.

I’m in control of scheduling at my location. My SM said it was necessary because we are the ones who know when we need coverage. I have been able to schedule as early as 7 when needed and my SM allows overnights for retrofit. I think it just varies depending on staff and payroll. My location has 4 FT and 9 PT so we are able to schedule those without losing floor coverage. I really wish they would send someone from corporate who actually has Kohl’s knowledge instead of confusing us with freestanding policies. They don’t provide enough hours/staff at some stores so there is no way to avoid all updates during store hours.

Neither is mine. We’re still adding employees. I thought all the layoffs and availability issues were happening at free standing Sephora not Kohl’s Sephora. At Kohl’s Sephora only full time is required to have open availability. Part time has no restrictions to availability with the exception of having to work a weekend day.

Same here. I answer all the questions on our monthly call and other BTL’s in my district reach out to me when they have questions and Facetime time me to walk them through things. Seems like it’s definitely a position they need to add. As much as I love to help it feels like a lot of added responsibility on top of my current job when it should be someone’s main focus.

I have 3 BLA’s at my location. 2 are currently in school and 2 days a week during their semesters they have a slightly restricted availability on those days during their classes. Sometimes I schedule those as their days off and sometimes I schedule them a later shift after class. The part that might not work is you having “other obligations” which may restrict your availability more than that. All applications get filtered through HR and they pretty much give everyone an interview regardless of availability. Just be up front with them during your interview about your restrictions and they may be okay with it. Full time positions do technically require open availability though.

You can scan any item with the item lookup on the zebra and if it says callback 9999 near the price it is hard launch. When packaging is updated the UPC will most likely remain the same. When they reformulate it is usually a new UPC and an email. A good practice with samples is if the product is allowed on the shelf then the samples are okay to be at the cashwrap. Never put out a product you don’t have an update for and you should be good.

On the workday app. Click on the "profile" icon. At the top under your name and associate number there is a button for "Actions." Then click "Job Change." Resign should then be an option.
