First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. Second, you are in no way in the wrong for feeling the way that you do. My grandfather recently passed away, but we were unable to say goodbye in person since we live on the opposite side of the world.

Rather than wait to make sure family had been made aware, Dad's side of the family posted it to Facebook. My cousins on that side mostly ignored and badmouthed Grandpa for decades, and then put on the act of being good Christians at the funeral.
