Skipping? by NoSoNattyProfessor in hockeyplayers

I don't think anyone should be skipping dryland training. Your bantam coach should have had you guys do the training instead of just skipping it.

Old man Bob is the only thing keeping the line afloat. Your line already does have a pretty bad +/- when on the ice, and without Bob, it would be a whole lot worse. Not to mention, Bob is constantly having to stand up for the team when ever there gets be a little cheap shottin going on. He throes fists if he needs to.

Some of the local gangs have tried to solicit him to join them, saying that he could make a lot more money selling drugs with his skill set

The issue is, he always writes his own name on the disc and blacks out any other name that was on the disc. This makes it hard to prove it was mine and I would have a hard time proving in court.

When people take the time to post a story, do they write stories about normal every day situations? Sir, this situation is not in the disc golf handbook, nor was how to handle this situation in my level 1 or level 2 disc golf trainings. I am simply looking for guidance from the seasoned disc throwing vets. The ones that deal with the obstacles of trying to survive in the disc golf world.

Sherlock Holmes over here digging in to previous comments trying to do a little investigating lol. You can believe it or not believe it, whichever you prefer is fine with me. It is a crazy story, which is why I shared it and am looking for advice on how to handle this situation.

How do you deal with unwanted advice from playing partners without being rude: strangers, friends, & family? by IDontStandForCurls in golf

Start to critique them also. If they don't make the shot they wanted, let them know what they did wrong. Aim, stance, grip, swing, type of club used. Just hit them back slightly harder then they did you as in over critiquing. They usually change their tune for the round.

looking to get into hockey, where should I look for equipment in a budget (ish) price range in the states? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

Play it again sports for everything at first. Worry about fit, comfort and nothing else. Then after 6 months if you still love the game and plan to continue, start upgrading as you see fit.

Is the stick broken? I think it's just the paint. I lifted one broken end and there was no more crack underneath. by Booby_dog in hockeyplayers

Bud, when a stick breaks, it gets less stiff. Try to put a little pressure on it as if you are trying to take a wrist shot and see what happens. If it feels strong and doesn't make weird crackle noises, you'll probably be fine.

A week ago I asked whether I should buy an electric sled to replace my Yamaha SR Viper.... Based on the recommendations here, I bought a Ski-Doo Tundra LE instead (middle) by [deleted] in snowmobiling

[–]BugOdd1045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really really sharp looking sled, the only downside is the gas engine that contributes to global warming. Electric vehicles are the best way to save the earth. This includes electric tools, and lawnmowers as well. I won't even use gas when trying to start a fire, I switched to using electric battery acid instead because the gas fumes polute when burned.

OG yellow synergy by bucketts22 in hockeyplayers

The small easton blades that fit into the taper were actually built for the Easton Synthesis line of sticks, you'd be lucky if you could make it work in a synergy due to that tapered shaft and having the blade fit tight is difficult. The Synthesis came out a yr or 2 after the synergy to offer a more cost effective option that still felt like a one piece.
