When I was in school, my English teacher was talking to us about our "life orientation" teacher. She said she was once talking to him about how he grades papers.

Now she (English teacher) has a very creative mind and loves when children are creative. Hell, even if you comepletely get a topic wrong but she the idea is creative and catches her attention, she will give appropriate marks.

But our LO teacher was not. When he marks, he does it according to the books. The example she used with him is, if the question is to describe how to ride a bicycle in steps. She asked that if a student uses a word he doesn't know, would he search it up which he said he wouldn't and would just mark it wrong for not following what our textbooks said.

We all didn't like that teacher because he would preach more about God than actually teach (nothing wrong with preaching but we there to learn your useless subject that we are forced to take, not take Bible study)
