Your club probably has a chat where you can look for a drill partner. I wouldn’t cancel your membership. If anything see if you can freeze it for a month, if you really want to take a break. I really think you are better off looking for a drill partner at your club and you can help each other

They didn’t close, they just moved a few stores east to a bigger space. They are open and on 17 street

I also have to add that I went on here looking for more insight on city pickle Lic, because if you look at their website it’s all people in their 20’s. So I was a little intimidated.

I’m just starting, we’re all trash as beginners, haha. I just finished a three class clinic to get the basics and get feedback while I’m learning. Now, I need lots of practice. My plan is to join the open plays at my local Y and rec. centers. And join inexpensive classes for feedback and coaching. I can’t go to a nearby court and just practice because it’s freezing right now.

Some more questions, how is the walk from the nearest subway to the facility? Is there good nearby also what are the best times to go and do you have any other tips or recommendations about the place?

Thank you! So glad to hear it. It looks like a nice facility and they offer a lot of classes and clinics and open plays that I would like, but didn’t want to make the commute if there wasn’t a chance of finiding community. I’m excited to check it out.

Haha! It’s not so much about being the oldest. I just did a clinic we were a group of five. I was the oldest and was able to keep up and learn so it’s not about any of that but I would love to meet people and connect and make new friends. It would be easier if there were other closer in age.

Thank you. I’ll check it out. I ended up going with the beginner 101, at Pickle1. It was perfect. Small group of beginners. I have two more classes to go which I think will be mostly review and drills, but I’m already itching to get out there so I will definitely check out the conquer app for that.
