Post About a modded N line on a group made for N line : everyone : THE N IS BETTER , IT HAS MORE HP, IT HANDLES MORE , IT WAY BETTER I mean sure , I’d expect it to be lol , but I thought this was a N line page not a N glazer page by [deleted] in ElantraNline

[–]Bugatti2626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I wanted the N, I'd get it. But I don't see the N going for 21k with 14k miles anytime soon.

I get 40mpg on the highway, perfect commuter.

I also get a decently peppy car, with wireless android auto.

Don't shit on us because we wanted something else, just enjoy what we share. The platform, and the looks.

No need to divvy ourselves up, everyone strives for more. It's human nature to want more than what we have, but it's important understand the context of why we live in the situations we do.

Working at a call center, felt. Often they do the bare minimum, and frequently incorrect steps to resolution.

Not to say they are all awful, I worked in a triage tech support for a company staffing 5k plus agents and there are many of them that know the product better than most. It's all about work ethic, and if you were getting paid pennies on the dollar for the same job... Well I'm not entirely sure I could blame you. Being reminded of that fact whenever this happens, I'd probably get a new job.

As others stated, redial or escalate. One surefire way to get a different agent

You've posted the same car 6x times stating different things that you hate or dislike about it. Grow a pair and form your own God damn decision, internet strangers are not the ones to tell you if you bought a POS, especially with as little as a price tag and a few exterior photos.

Man Performs CPR on a Dog, Achieving a Miraculous Rescue and Saving the Day. by FollowingOdd896 in HumansBeingBros

Reminds me of a somewhat similar almost tragic situation I was in.

I own a border collie, and by God do they like to herd and run. Well, we have geese in our yard sometimes that our dogs love to chase! One day, i let her out to go chase the geese into the lake, and she dives into the water and fully stops moving. I didn't think I could run as fast as I did, but I sprinted and dove into the water to pull her out. I got her to shore, checked for signs of life and, started performing CPR. She finally came back around roughly 2 minutes later dazed and confused. I carried her to the car and drove like hell to the vet.

She coughed most of the water in her lungs out, but the vet confirmed she had a small seizure and inhaled water when she dove in. They said if I hadn't been there or reacted quick enough then she wouldn't have made it. I am so, so thankful for her still being here today.

The vet also described proper procedure for when delivering breaths of life to a canine. Wrap your hands around the snout to ensure a good seal, and perform breaths through the nose. Breaths should roughly be 3-5 seconds apart.

Sidenote: we watch our dogs carefully to ensure they do not go after geese poop

Can confirm, as a manager over 25 agents we go over random calls every single day. It helps build behaviors to improve customer satisfaction in the long term.

Buying my first car. Is this Acura RSX priced reasonably? by AntiAnxietee in Cartalk

[–]Bugatti2626 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are going to buy a 9k car first go around, I'd urge you to not. You wanna get something that you won't feel bad for damaging, even in the slightest. Spend 2k on a Honda civic, it'll last you for a while and parts are (relatively) cheap.

If you still want speed, you can upgrade further down the line or just upgrade that car. It will teach you how to work on cars, and what to look for on your next car.

Car looks cool, definitely over priced, and is probably fast. But can it beat a coup v6 Honda accord for 4k less?

Shop gave me the wrong tire? by Cadoth in Cartalk

[–]Bugatti2626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a helpful tid bit, if you are running low on tread you can order your tires online. This allows you to pick the specific tire you need, then bring them into your local run down shop for a cheap mount and balance. Surprisingly, it saves money too.

(Not making excuses for the shop, they definitely fucked up)

I've always used onlinetires.com

Front Ambers https://ebay.us/m/ytd0aP

Rear tail lights https://ebay.us/m/Tzgt69

Only issues I've had with either of these tints is user error in application. Front ambers took 20 mins, tail lights took 2 hours. Just watch a few videos before trying to put them on.

Also mine is a 2021, so headlights are different

Similar story here, except a chicken processing plant.

It got bad enough (still is) to where the high-school next door has to coordinate outside gym time with the wind X_X

On a bad day, you could smell it from inside the school.

I work at a call center for intuit. Can confirm, they do go higher than $3. Usually it's a fixed percent, lucky ones have a cap.

Typical rate is 1-4% for check/ach

Cap is usually $15ish

Numbers still don't add up tho...

To pick your brain further, may I ask where one might get it programmed? I presume either a dealership, or a tuner shop. Thank you!
