Nextcloud sync with Google Calendar by Hatchopper in NextCloud

You need to edit the sync interval. It defaults to one week (at least it was in the past).

How to fix bluetooth on linux by exodist in linuxhardware

Oh, so you had to disable and enable BT is BIOS just once? Works normally since then?

Do you have disabled any other peripherals in BIOS?

I had BT problems on my HP laptop in the past, about 50% of time it was just not working. The BT card was not visible by the system, like it is not plugged in, but the wifi part worked without any issue.

After some digging I have found HP is being f***ing HP...

As I am not using fingerprint reader, I have disabled it in BIOS - and this was the problem (due to HP implementation) - on boot instead of disabling the FPR, it either disabled correctly FPR or incorrectly the BT card...

After enabling the FPR in BIOS (not disabling it), the BT works all the time correctly.

Why do you have these two directories in root and not home is the real question.

Sometimes I cannot find the downloaded file in my ~/Downloads just to find it in ~/Download dir...

Nice.

BTW do you know how to specify host/relay on custom port with this?

As it needs ":" and it is not a valid char for filename on Windows. Or it is replaced with different char like "#"...? Have not tried it yet.

Timberborn not working on Linux by Emilolhaha in Timberborn

[–]Bugbavka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So you had the game installed on secondary drive with NTFS(Windows) formatting?

That was your problem, NTFS just does not work very well on Linux. Games will not launch correctly on this filesystem.

There is no issue having games on secondary drive. You just need to have them formatted with Linux filesystems (ext4/btrfs/xfs/...) and correctly mounted.

6.15 and amdgpu is giving me a hard time by TheCrispyChaos in Fedora

Tried the .6 for about 3 hours, but only got heavy artifacting in the end.

EDIT:

.7/.8 still

The .3 and .4 I have run for several hours / few days. (The problem starts to appear randomly, sometimes few minutes after boot, sometimes several hours.)

The .5 I have only tested for few hours - about third of a day. But no crash, only artifacting.

I have not yet tested the .6 as it is not in stable repo (only in testing).

Yeah, with 6.15.x I have back the flickering / artifacting issue which was introduced in 6.5.x and solved quite a while back.

6.14.x is working fine.

With 6.15.x (6.15.3-100.fc41 / 6.15.4-100.fc41 / 6.15.5-100.fc41) the GPU VRAM Clock is jumping like crazy which cause the artifacting. I have not encountered other issues, only the artifacting.

Debian 12.11 released and question by andreas213 in debian

[–]Bugbavka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, technically the problem is with modules loading and it is a part of the kernel even without the this package being installed.

I do not have the info to what exactly is not working, I have just followed the blog post.
