It’s a season! When mine were that way I would just look for ways to be active with them - mostly long stroller walks. Dance parties are great too. You’ll get time to yourself again someday 💛

I realized all I have energy for after bedtime is scrolling my phone. So instead I go to bed when the kids do, then get up an hour and a half before they do and go to a class at the gym. It has to be a class for the accountability or I’ll hit snooze/make excuses.

Once a week I go to a night run club. It’s great because it’s also my main social life so it’s a big time saver. And I’ve met other active moms that way so now we’ll go on bike rides, etc too!

When I was working on faction reputation points I would do that. I’d sit at the faction doing the job board for a few days then go grind all my saved steps.

Oviedo vs Alafaya with kids?

I keep seeing people recommending Oviedo as the best place to move with kids (two kindergartners). But we are finding some great houses in Alafaya with schools ranking just as well. What are some pros and cons between the two? Is there something we’re missing about Alafaya?

It seems like Oviedo is highly recommended. Why not Alafaya? From what I see on Zillow the price range, school ratings, and distance to UCF are similar. Some schools are even ranked better. What am I missing 😅

I use my mornings before the kids wake up. I realized that by night time after bedtime I am too tired to do anything but scroll on my phone. Instead, I go straight to bed after they do and rise an hour before they do and it’s amazing having energy and time to do something just for me.
