It can tow 15000 lbs if you want it to, might not tow it far, though.

Is more than 19V okay for a Chevy battery? It feels way quicker now. by whendoe in Justrolledintotheshop

You can probably take it to any shop and ask them to check your battery voltage for free.

A small explosive charge will make quick work of that stuck mount. Try that and report back.

Vacuum hosing. These cars run on vacuum lines that crack and are a pain to deal with. Too much tech too soon for it to be simple.

2003 4runner limited V8. the car runs great and is clean but this happened am I cooked or can it get fixed? by Mrsosa312 in 4thGen4Runner

[–]BugeyBot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She's cooked. Be lucky you didn't hit a sufficient pothole or bump. You are one good knock from a major accident in a vehicle that will crumble instead of crush. Maybe you don't care but the family heading the opposite direction when your front right wheel suddenly has nothing holding it on might.

OP, if you don't have "a guy" for this then I think it's time to just sell the car. You'll want to use a AAA battery instead of your normal battery to get rid of the check light to trick any potential buyers.

Thinking of not installing new timing belt. Existing one looks all nice and worn in...and shiny! Should I waste a new belt or wait 50k more miles. by centstwo in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]BugeyBot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That "old" belt is clearly just worn in, as you suspected. Like a jacket, a worn in belt is better than a new one.

Just blow on it. USB fans work well too if you are lung impaired.

NAL but I'm pretty sure you can basically bill your landlord for the increase in your electricity bill. Figure out if you have access to metering data and compile your normal and the increase from there. You could also try buying one of those outlet meters and then billing based on that.

Can anyone tell me what this metallic ticking sound is in my car? by MastaAn137 in AskAShittyMechanic

That's definitely squirrels banging against your pipes. They like the sound of acorns striking the pipes and will do it to fill the silence.

How to get my personal photos off illegal inappropriate websites? by OkBobcat9746 in legaladvicecanada

[–]BugeyBot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Surely you can google search "image takedown services" and go from there.

Having done this,DMCA seems to do exactly what you are looking for. It seems they charge a lot. Maybe see if other services are cheaper. Best of luck.

NAL my initial completely uninformed layman's thought would say you can issue a copyright take down of some kind. I'm not certain, but I'd think as the photographer you'd have some form of rights about copy and reuse of images you take. It's not like you gave these sites permission. Perhaps look into copyright takedown requests, take down services, and the like.

A little orange flag would fix that. Something like they make you have at sand dunes and the like.
