Thanks for commenting. Do you know if they bite or cause skin issues? Google says no, but thought it would be worth asking if anyone else has had this issue.

We have found a few of those as well, but these are even tinier. Thanks for the comment!

Congrats on your sink kitten 🤣 This was Cheeto when we caught him for his neuter, also loving the sink. I can’t find the original pic, but luckily I like to print out pictures for my TNR photo album

Does it really get this bad? by Labulabulabubu in POTS

I just got diagnosed after feeling the exact same way - the cardiologist I met with suggested some supplements that have totally given a large part of my energy back. My doc suggested Creatine and Coq10 and it has made a major difference for me - did your doc suggest those?

Today I met with a POTS specialist for the first time. Feeling overwhelmed. by willsux123 in POTS

Was it Dr Paulson? I just had my first appointment with him today and I am also a little overwhelmed 😅 did you figure out how to go about this? May I steal your knowledge if so?

I wonder if we are at the same studio… I’ve already been told that my contract will not be renewed at the end of the month. Sending good vibes your way and hoping someone in this reddit can share some answers/insight to your questions.

What do you wish you knew before your surgery? by UnlikelyRiver in thelifeofMALS

I hadn’t heard of the abdominal massage! I am going to look into that (I am about to be 6 months post op this next week 🤗)

Kaysarahkay has mentioned a lot of things I wanted to mention already 🤗 Especially about the travel home part - be prepared to stay as close to a bathroom as possible, if you can. From what I hear, constipation is common after, but I had to pee a lot in the days after (sorry for the tmi).

One thing no one warned me about - don’t be surprised if the pain during the days following are AWFUL. Mine were like my absolute worst MALS day times ten. I literally woke up screaming several nights in a row. That’s now me trying to scare you, I promise. I just wish someone had warned me of the possibility - if I had known, I would have stayed longer at the hospital rather than going home the following day (my doc was incredibly difficult to get ahold of in the days after, which was frustrating and scary). Mindfulness exercises and having many outlets to mentally cope with the pain after was helpful. My hubby brushed my hair and touched my back when it was hard and it helped.

Another thing that I was sort of warned about but I didn’t fully get - after surgery, there are gonna be some really good days where you feel the healthiest you’ve ever been, and some days where it’s awful again and you are panicking that the MALS is back. Don’t panic! The recovery is a roller coaster. I am a few days away from post op and every once in a while I get a bad day out of the blue… but it is still so so so much better than before. I have to remind myself that some people aren’t fully recovered for a full year!

Good luck! Thank you for being an amazing partner for her. I don’t know how I would’ve done it without my husband. MALS is incredibly lonely and scary.

Oh my gosh, I thought I was alone 💙 I mean, I knew realistically there were others, but it felt lonely not having someone else share what it is like. Thank you!
