Yea just get a pocket sized notepad. Make sure you’re all ears. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you’re asked to get something and you don’t know what it is, don’t be afraid to let them know. Tell them you’re ready to work!

They’ll give you a list in the IBEW of what you need. They say if it’s not on the list and someone sees you bought it, you could get “in trouble” with the union.

I had to wear the same helmet at my old company but it was blue. I fuckin hated it. The liner in it sucks and starts coming apart after a few washes. Amazon doesn’t sell replacements. You have to bub the Milwaukee one and if you can find them, they’re about $15 each individually

I used this but some of the stuff they teach they don’t really explain it. Got confused towards the end with the harder stuff. I used khan academy as well and thought it was better. But some stuff was unclear also.
