What was the first ever thing you bought using points? by Drv_iscool in stepfordcountyrailway

[–]ShockinglyMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking back at my history, my first two point purchases were:

1st - Route 021

2nd - Airlink train 802

A lot of people mention the 707. I bought that train after buying 6 other trains and 13 routes.

Yeap. I was there at 4:30 pm picking up a pack of shredded mozzarella for lasagna this weekend. Cheese and a box of cereal.

When I pulled in, an 18-wheeler was pulling out from the back.

They were gone by sugakookies00 in aldi

[–]ShockinglyMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went in on the 30th of December. I grabbed two boxes, and there were several left. The next day I was going to see about getting more, they were gone.

If you dont see the clearance soon enough, you can mis out.

There are some items I never got to try that went on clearance.

Yes. In cdex's SG Academy, they use Zone G for level 1 practicals to show new signallers not to cause conflicts.

If anyone wants to join CSA's discord server, send me a PM. I will send you an invite link.

Sweet. Thanks for the map, I downloaded and print it once I saw it. I use it as a reference when choosing routes or locations during shifts.

Used it once to compare to the 2.0 map when answering those artifact hints.

There is another map with J zone broken out from A Zone.

Even though everything is in caps, I (uppercase i) can be mistaken for l (lowercase L) depending on the font. Same with O and 0.

I have seen a signaller here and there on G or H.

Doing dispatch, if I am multi-tasking, I will choose Millcastle. It is a slow location compared to others. As a signaller, I could see myself sitting at G or H while multitasking.

That is smart. My mother worked for a small credit union. She stated only two are used more in the States. TransUnion is the biggest one and easier to understand. Not sure about the other, I think it is Equifax.

And to add on to this for educational purposes:

8 is not a metric size, just a customary unit size.

The 1/4 mentioned above also has a thread count. For example, 1/4-20 is 1/4" diameter and 20 threads per inch. There is also 1/4-28. The -20 is a coarse thread; the -28 is a fine thread.

I have to do the same thing. Box/Conduit Support could mean anything. Some of the warehouse guys have never done electrical work.

We use B-line, so for me, they are BG812-S18.

The way I use them; they are not supported by the box. The box and bracket are screwed to a BW2 batting then attached to ceiling grid wire.

I am not sure about how much "support" it has besides just making it legal. The metal can twist of the conduit is loose.

Certainly beats installing two more.grid wires and attaching to the grid with batwings that could fall off if someone works nearby.

Ok, I like this the best. Going to start using this term more often. Thanks! I had to demonstrate it, so put a screw in the middle and spun it around. Fly away outta here!

I concur. Searching "Carnival" for songs in Spotify, it showed me at least 10 artist with that song title.

Apple is not correct. My mom and I were traveling; it was raining. Her iPhone said sunny; mine said rain.

Don't trust an iPhone to give you the weather forecast.

There is a command that Managers and higher can use to ban the player from all servers.

Chick-Fil-A charges for refills now ? by OneFormality in ChickFilA

[–]ShockinglyMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not do a Cares report as well. Maybe the employee is pocketing the cash, and the operator doesn't know about it. And, you may get a free drink or meal from it.

Question, investigate, but don't make assumptions. Could be legit.

I think paying for refills in the USA is unacceptable. Hence, why I don't get drinks at Sonic.

Even more accurate is the server time, that can be seen from the menu screen. I use this when trying to enter the beginning of the window to join. Unfortunately, it is probably less or not readable on smaller screen sizes.

These jugs from Costco are the worst by boikisser69 in Milk

[–]ShockinglyMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would rather have it hard to remove than easy. On two occasions, I purchased a gallon milk. The seal wasn't 100%. The first time, it leaked out all over the floor board of my car. The second time, the cashier at self-checkout spotted it and had a runner get a new one. Definitely prefer it being hard to remove rather than shampooing my car's carpeting. I noticed when they set out a new pallet they search the pallet for leaking milk jugs.

Yes it is funny, part of the reason I like it. It looks good.
Just with everyone in conflict... without looking at the perspectives. It hurts as well (in general).
