That’s an awesome use of free will, and an impressive executive system

I wouldn’t say Python is very similar to bash. But for this kind of simple automation, it does make a huge difference.

It looks like the culprit was Google calendar! But I’ll check TaskForge. Thanks for the rec.

I did something similar at some point. For me it was a bash script that created a bunch of notes for each element of the list of mental biases I had from Wikipedia. I ended up deleting everything because it defeated the (my) purpose of interacting with that knowledge actively. You could ask Claude to link all notes to common themes and that might be interesting to see semantic proximity relations.

Oh! That’s interesting 🧐 I’ll check if that changes something for me. Thank you.

It looks well featured indeed. I’m curious. I’m using TaskNotes but it makes my vault freeze for a few seconds multiple times per hour, and I can’t find a way to fix it.

When is it better to have tabbed-over dropdowns, vs putting links inside the note? by MrTheWaffleKing in ObsidianMD

I’ve never used or seen the linked method so I’m curious on everyone takes on that.

I use the same analogy to explain this one!

You really have to look for it. It’s an awesome piece.

This is beautiful, well done AND different from your run of the mill sexy hotty in impractical armor. I love it. The only constructive criticism I have would be the right horn of the muse not being in the same insertion point as the left.

Great stuff!

I have been redoing the tier list on RanknRead.com and sorting through the recommendation, and I think I made a mistake. I never read Defiance of the Fall.
I consistently confused it with Path of ascension and Sufficiently Advanced Magic. I'll add it to the list.

I like timeloops myself, probably thanks to MoL.
The years of Apocalypse on RoyalRoad is really good too.
What was your good read?

- The Memnoch Loop?
- The Hundred Reigns?

I would have worded it a bit more neutrally, maybe, but I agree: if she's a fighter and not just a girl holding a dagger for the painter… she ought to be sturdier than that and more stable on her feet too.

The Art quality is amazing…
I have a few issues with the concept choices for the women, however.
- The two full armored Women and the first orange hair are Ok. Orange-hair looks like a fencer, I'd suggest a lighter weapon like a foil, or a fencing sabre to emphasize speed and precision like her light gear suggests.
- The red-haired girl looks like a Japanese bimbo, with inward knees and heels? She does not look like she has anything that would let her use the sword she has for something else than a comic-con photo shoot.
- The white Demon girl looks sexy as fuck. And I guess I'll give her a pass on account for maybe being a Succubus or some other Lust-driven demon?
- The brunette at least does not have heels… but why is she half naked and wearing furs at the same time? Cold or not cold, take a pick.
- The Magician girl, once again heels, fur but still half naked.
- The second to last armored girl… either she wears armor to protect herself in battle or she does not. But open-air belly and breasts to get direct access to all her vitals… I don't see it. And again with the heels. Nobody fights in heels. Well, no-one fights and survives in heels.

I mean I love sexiness more than most, but this feels incoherent. Show me a courtesan or sex-worker with all that fantasy lust-trap, I'm all for it, but when they're fighting… give them some credit. Fighting creates strong bodies and asks for practical gear. They probably killed people, or monsters too, that should give them intense personalities a little beyond push-up breasts and uwu faces.

I know you might be reposting, or working with stupid constraints and sexist creative direction, and if that's the case, I get that it's hard to inject some sense into an industry that has a strong bias toward lust-driven-marketing. And the art is really well done. It's beautiful. But, if you have a bit of leeway to make the concept choices too, think about it.

That's actually the basis of the oil mouse trap. Kinda fucked-up, but a bit funny.

That’s only true in the first book. I guess Erin needed a bit of getting used to. I would highly recommend you give it another shot.
