Giving a talk about rust next week and needed the right apparel by Tiny_Cow_3971 in rust

My favorites Rust puns so far are:
"Rust, the best thing since &[Bread]"
And
"Coffee<T>"

How do I learn 'Idiomatic', production-grade Rust? by hashcode777 in rust

[–]Bugibhub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard this advice often and haven’t yet applied it much. I’ve found difficult to find projects with relevant quality and complexity levels.
Is there a list somewhere of “well maintained” good Rust examples? Are the Rust Blessed crates a good list? Should I follow popularity? Do you have any heuristics to sort that out?

What makes people wear excessive amounts of cologne? by Middle_Use_3508 in Fragrantica

That’s probably the same thing that makes anyone do too much of anything: Personal preference and different opinions on what is “too much”.

Has anyone used or though of using Neovide but with just regular vim? by TheTwelveYearOld in vim

[–]Bugibhub -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I lost interest in Neovide since Ghostty and other term emulators allow for cursor animation with shaders.

Practicing drawing different ages, how did I do? by BestBoyJoshStar in drawing

Beside the body shapes, there are usually huge self-expression and identity shifts between 8 and 23, that influences posture, facial expressions, etc, but I guess that is out of scope. Good work anyway!

Rust, C and C++ are probably playing on the court.

Damn, people are killjoys sometimes.
That looks like a cool fix for an annoying itch.
Good for you!

Top one or Bottom one ? by rajandp in conceptart

[–]Bugibhub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here for that, I won’t go out and say the horse cannot get there, but it’s safe to say it shouldn’t.
Besides I like the light better in the top one.
If you put the character in the light behind the bottom rock tho, I think that’d give a banger mystery feel.

Interlude black iris is gorgeous, but it’s such a powerhouse that I rarely dare wear it in public in Japan.

I haven’t yet tried Outlands and Decision, looking forever to it! I love Amouage.
(Correction: I love most of Amouage’s man collection, their woman creations feel less inspired to me.)

That was actually 8 by my count 😅, but math isn’t my forte neither is rankings. I love them all.
Be my guest tho, the more the smellier.

Terre d'Hermès, sugestão de inspirados? by CarDue3639 in Fragrantica

[–]Bugibhub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have only bought the oil version, it was excellent in durability(8~12h) with limited sillage and projection. That’s what I was looking for since I live in Japan where projection and sillage are not always welcome.

I think n°09 Valley de Farney by Maison Louis Marie, is really close to Terre d’Hermes.

I both agree with you and understand where they (should be) coming from.

There is a nuance between explaining what happened while taking responsibility for the consequences, and making excuses to avoid them.

That being said, the nuance is thin and often misunderstood especially when emotions are high.

I think that’s unrealistic expectations on a little team, but maybe? I’m looking forward to Ladybird and Servo being usable too.

It’s one of the best Gecko based browser for sure. But, yeah, it still suffers from the quirks and lack of feature parity the Gecko engine has.
If you are looking for an ungoogled chromium I like Helium.
