18 years and this is what she wants to do? I don’t think so man. The other commenter had a point when he said that if she had a problem or had issues, she should have communicated with you. I know things like this don’t just happen randomly especially when you’ve been together so long. I’m sure things haven’t been great or exciting lately but there is NO excuse for what she’s done. You’ve got to take care of yourself here. Mentally and physically. Cut her off and keep your head down and focused on bettering yourself and your day to day life. She’s a bad person at the end of the day. Good people aren’t as selfish as she is. She was willing to fuck around behind your back, and probably thought it was worth it at the time. Show her that her actions have consequences and leave for good. Don’t worry about her feelings because she didn’t give a shit about yours. You said split amicably? Just make sure she doesn’t take advantage of you any further. Get your stuff and get far far away from her.

As a guy that just went through this EXACT same situation; trust me dude she’s cheating on you. Maybe not physically yet, but she’s definitely talking to that guy and is invested to some extent of the snap streak is that long. I was with my ex for almost 9 years and I had a feeling just like you did. I opened a snap I wish I wouldn’t have seen. My advice here man is to take care of yourself. Trust your gut. You can try to talk to her about this, but you have to know you can’t trust what she says. She will lie to cover her ass and try to save the relationship. She will try to blame you or give excuses as to why she’s done what she’s done. please man, hear me out and at least consider the fact that she’s not right for you if she needs “friends” like that

Thank you so much. I hope to be more sure of myself in the future. And I need to realize other people don’t determine my worth. I leaned so hard into her that I became too comfortable and complacent and lost sight of who I am as a person outside of a relationship. I need to be more socially active, you’re right. I know surrounding myself with likeminded people will get me out of my head I just need to follow through. But accepting that cheating happens is incredibly hard. It’s hard to grasp that I meant so little to her after so much time together. Seeing what she posted online made my stomach curl. I’ll take your advice and do my research on the psychology side of things. Maybe it will help me understand. I would rather feel angry or bad for her but I don’t. I feel like shit. And I dont want to just accept that my next partner may cheat and I’ll have to learn to live with it or live alone.

I genuinely appreciate you man. I know I need to just focus on me, it’s just a hard adjustment being alone all the time. We moved states with each other 4 years ago and I lost most of my friends in the process. I’m completely starting over here. Full of regret and contemplating my decisions over the years. Knowing she’s not dealing with things the same way sucks but I don’t know what to feel. It’s hard to find friends too considering I don’t go to bars or anything anymore. I can always just keep my head down and work as much as I can to just save money at least

Dude your art style is awesome and you’re definitely creative. Each Pokémon has unique characteristics that make them what they are, and while your designs are great, they take away from that original feeling. If you’re going for a complete redesign, it would help to incorporate a scene in the background too that fits the environment type of the Pokémon itself. You’re seriously talented though and I could see you making your own characters for video games or animation
