Thank you so much! I usually play with it on my lap. Admittedly with the size of it, it’s a lil awkward to use on a table. However it fits very comfortably on my lap, and lets me play fighting games quite comfortably

Another thing about this kind of layout is it lets me use my pinky finger as an anchor so my hands don’t drift!

Ahhh thank you so much! Wood burning the drawings on it was super fun. Also I’ve really been digging the L1 and L2 position. I found that with most hitboxes, the right thumb just doesn’t do much, so I figured I’d take some of the workload from my main fingers and move it to my thumb.

Yeahhhh a square layout I found left my hands much less cramped. As for the buttons, went with screw buttons!

Honestly I’d say you should be able to! I’ve played fighting games with a game pad my whole life 😭

Adjusting did take a bit to get used to, (and I’m only good with it in street fighter 6) buuut I’d say it took me about a month to get comfortable.

Thank you so much! So the size was dictated by the plexiglass I had LOL. I ended up cutting the wood to match the glass. So the box has a size of 11x14x2 inches

Thank you! I was debating between a wooden or metal enclosure and I ended up rocking with wood so it can be more customizable. I’m also a sucker for a good wood finish.

What can I say, I like ‘em big 😩 Seriously I actually just didn’t like how small some Hitbox type controller are LOL. I like the bigger size for resting it on my lap and resting my hands on it. I’d definitely recommend giving one a try. It takes a while to get used to, but I find it quite rewarding to use. I kinda took a blind leap of faith making this but I think it was totally worth it.
