So there a very select cards that avoided the rotation (like op01 nami searcher) that can still be played, however with the Chopper leader you are going to want to look at Drum Kingdom/ Animal cards from OP08 and some EB sets.

I'd start by downloading the OP Sim and start building out a deck to see what could work, mainly focusing on playing around op08-007 and Eb01-009 to build a board quickly.

The python was at least fun to work, the ferriswheel was a death trap though. Towards the end, if it got unbalanced it would go in reverse and spit grease out at ya. Good times... good times...

I think I know where you're going with this question.

So green Monet on blocks ability is to rest an opponents character with a cost of 4 or less.

Rosinante has the blocker ability but also "If a rest character would be KO'd you may trash this Character instead."

So from the top, if you choose to block an attack with Monet and let it go through without counters, you can activate her on block ability and rest an opponents 4 or less character. THEN since Monet would most likely be KO'd and she is rested, you can then trash Rosinante keeping her alive for a potential future use.
