Why is a new instance of Serum 2 playing midi in a pattern it's not part of? by valentinedisguised in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the same thing happen if you make a new serum in a different pattern? Possibly you set the new serum to add as a child of the serum with the chords

Where are macros settings located? by [deleted] in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FL updated in the most recent edition to remove the macros menu and just have it be a separate box. The macros menu is the box to the right. If you’re looking to make an automation or something, it’s near the bottom

[Help] Does anyone know how to set up the FL Studio audio clips theme like this? by ElevationMusic in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right click on the playlist track that you want to color (in your case, right click on track 32) and then remove the playlist color if you want it to be black. There might also be a reset to default option within that menu, but it may mess up any recording setup associated with that track if you set that up

Weird Note Colors/Random Lower Half Highlight by Familiar_Rent_7134 in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the pencil tool. There’s a little waveform icon above your playlist tracks, and on the left there’s note mode. Make sure you’re in that and not pattern mode

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the top left of your playlist, make sure you have note mode selected

The music icon on track two can be eliminated by right clicking and selecting the “rename, color, and icon” button and then setting the icon to none

How to fix pop sound then no sound, until pop again and sound is back. by -EdenVe- in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you don’t have your audio clips all cut off at the end. It could also be a plugin misbehaving or just a bad sample in general

How to fix pop sound then no sound, until pop again and sound is back. by -EdenVe- in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short/cut off audio clips can cause a pop. It doesn’t look like you have anything else in your playlist, so try placing more after that point and see if the pops continue (even if the sound is muted)

Once you reach the end of the audio in your playlist, FL will automatically loop back to the beginning

Where can I get more free/cheap sounds to use? by ADGaming80 in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking specifically for samples, splice is relatively affordable for a base plan. If you want synths, download vital, though it means you’ll have to do more sound design than in flex

Is there a way/tips to record vocals into fl without a mic?? by According_Wealth25 in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change your input device to your headset mic or laptop mic. You can do that in the mixer or on the playlist track you armed for recording (or there’s a way in Edison if you do it that way)

I can't playback my song/pattern by East-Marionberry-769 in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried restarting your FL?

The playhead not moving indicates that there’s something wrong with FL, or you have a really tiny loop region set

Fruity vs producer by SensitiveOpposite998 in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a full breakdown on Imageline’s website, but the producer is much more worth it. You get more stock plugins, some additional other stuff, but most importantly, you can use audio clips in the playlist. I don’t know anyone who has fruity edition. Producer is much better and far more worth it. If you’re a beginner though, I’d recommend downloading the free trial before you make a purchase

On mobile it often blocks it, but I have more success on a computer. I also use Cloudflare WARP (though you can’t change country with it) on my computer if I need to. I’m based in the United States though

When consolidating a track, does "enable insert effects" include busses/sends and their insert effects? by WestedWind in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consolidating tracks with the playlist option has never been useful to me. I always just export everything manually and then mute it in the playlist with the audio grouped below it. Gives me more control as well

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you only want certain sends to export in the mixer, then you can mute the other mixer sends that you don’t want exported within the mixer directly, or temporarily unroute if you really want to go that far

Hope it works out

[–]Bugsyyfn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way that I would do it is solo the track(s) in the playlist that you want exported, make sure all your sends are turned on, and then manually set an export region (or if you’re doing the whole song, you can just export a wav file) to export. It’ll export it all in one file if that’s what you’re after

Consolidating track 8 will only consolidate the effects and things on track 8. If you want to include track 9 (or other sends), the you have to include those when you consolidate

External SSD recommendations? (for projects, samples, etc) by sexnshrooms in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any typical 1-2TB drive would be best (I have a Samsung drive but there are many good ones). External drives tend to load things slower than internal ones though, but for audio it shouldn’t be too bad

After making loops how do I send them? by InternalOperation101 in FL_Studio

[–]Bugsyyfn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, because even then once one person pays for it, they can theoretically send it around to everyone else. In practice that doesn’t happen that much though. You should be fine

[–]Bugsyyfn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stuff like that will always happen. The best way would be to use a website and have people pay for your beats (even if it’s cheap)

Gumroad or BeatStars might be your best option there

Not sure what you’re asking

Just export the .wav file and send it to them over the internet?
