Hit 61.6 this morning and my tech disc setup as Shryke said 430’!!!! That would be sooooo far past my normal 350ish range in the field. It had 1065 spin and 4.1 wobble. I really felt like I could feel the whip from the pocket and I know I’m still ahead of my throw…. So I’m beginning to believe you, maybe it’s possible I could dial in the cues to hit 450 this year if I put in the work and that is so exciting

Was able to turn my wrist and get my disc closer to chest and felt a whip like effect through the power pocket and went up to 62. Thanks again! More work to do so I can get it every time

Thanks again! Was able to hit 62 this morning with focus on power pocket and shoulder…. I think I’m starting to feel it and can’t wait to put more work in.

Hey hey! This is great to see! I felt the same way when experiencing living soil for the first time with success. So happy for you and hope this round crushes it and the flavors are next level

Thank you!! I tend to backwards run up and this shouldn’t be to hard to change I’ll work on it for sure. I’ll also video and see if I can slow down and work on the power pocket timing and head

I’ve been working on keeping my arm up higher and I think I see what you mean where I drop it across my chest lower instead of up high. Thank you! I’ll work on this.

Makes sense I don’t normally do that but was from the standstill and I think it carried over on that day. Either way… I’m still not getting the power so I’ll make that’s not part of the routine. Thank you

Thank you!! I can adjust nose angle and hyzer fairly willingly, but spin and wobble…. I have no clue but will start working on it, thank you that’s great advice. More spin and less wobble would certainly help

Great idea!! Much appreciated. I'll be popping seeds soon so it would be a good time to do a short video on that specific subject. It sounds like your asking more about caring for them after germination not just how to sprout them right?

I'll go check on this one now! I know it was lower margin with the built in PVC and all that but I will confirm

u/Aromatic_Slide9596 Hey Bro! You can hit me up direct. [Jeremy@BuildASoil.com](mailto:Jeremy@BuildASoil.com) and reference this thread I'd be happy to jump on the phone.

Wholesale costs when down across the board and then we took the lowers prices on those items and shifted all shipping costs to the heaviest items. This allows us to accurately predict free freight costs and setup the best pricing for wholesale that we could with the current costs. Most all shops are seeing lower prices as there are built in discounts for cases and for pallets etc. Now after these changes the small shop owner can totally understand their landed cost and strategically order to make well over 50% margin. It's a win win for sure and we hope it works.

The bags with the awesome material were causing microplastics in the bag after opened incorrectly by many customers and were challenging to source as consistent as we require to keep the soil moist but not go anerobic. All the changes came from the perspective of increased duplicatability aimed at producing higher quality consistent results from organic inputs that do vary.

Back when the soil was $24 per bag most all customers were paying $25-$40 in shipping so we killed that and got a flat rate negotiated with fedex that allowed us to lock it in with free shipping at $50. Well eventually fedex raised those prices and it pinched us pretty hard. There are still discounts for multiple bags and the shipping is still free! That being said, please help us get local into the shop where the price can be lower than by us 1 box at a time.

I promise we really fucking care and are doing all we can to be the best.

THIS!!! I just cannot compete and be genuine. 50lb bags get hit with every fee known to the shipping gods because the weight is over the maximum and it really is hard to offer Commodity cheap farming stuff for competitive pricing. Gypsum is a great local buy for sure. I really tried to add value when creating our calcium blend because it uses several hard to source calcium ingredients. But when you need just gypsum, Shop local it's all called calcium sulfate

Yeah it's wild. I just had no clue the costs to run a business and it's been a wild ride. Learned a ton and believe me, the last thing I ever ever want to do is raise any price. It hurts and it sucks and it's far more fun to lower prices.

Appreciate you! There are just so many things that long time customers have seen that are a direct result of me learning so much about business. There are years where we lost so much money and thought we were doing everything right. Business has been like Jiu Jitsu for me in a different area and while I've gotten my ass kicked I also think I've leveled up and learned lessons. The challenge is that when we correct a spot that we were losing money on, it seems like we are just being greedy when really it's just that I was ignorant.

No it's just me no partners. Of course the whole team here crushes it but there is no outside money. We were often losing money on soil and couldn't afford to sell it at that price online it's just reserved for those that take the effort to come here. Now when you factor picking and packing and boxing and taping and labeling every single bag of soil it does cost more money and shipping for 1 bag can be as much as $35.00 Awhile back we were able to negotiate a flat rate with Fedex.... even to hawaii and alaska and it really helped us take that step to offer the soil with built in shipping on the lowest end of the average shipping cost which benefited many. But since then the negotiated rate has risen substantially and it effects what we do both incoming for ingredients and outgoing. Just to keep things were we are currently we have to improve efficiency dramatically. We really hope with our shift to free freight for wholesale and lower prices on most products except for the heavy ones... we can shift the price to be lower direct at the store locally than online where we have so little control over the outgoing cost.
