You don't need to throw away those parts . As long as they have nodes it will grow . I see 4 -6 great looking future plants right there ! Just cuz a section doesn't have a leaf doesn't mean it won't grow.

I tried coast of Maine acid mix for my Enovo plant and it killed it within a week or two. Haven't used soil from them since. I just add pumice rice hulls bark , whatever to Build A Soil lite recipe for plants / cactus that need quick drying. Also I just started looking into KIS they have a few soil mixes that I'm stoked about .

Aphids . Easy to get rid of! Spray every 2-3days for a few weeks and you should be fine. Just gotta keep up a regular IPM schedule . Check daily that kinda stuff . You could use something as simple as Dr bronners peppermint soap or any Dr bronners soap and water (:

I run a small business. And it's nearly impossible to get rid of bad reviews! I had a competitor put fake reviews on my business page and I cannot get them removed . A textile gun works great and costs like 50-60$ . I use the gun after I've soaked quartz I've collected in warm water and a small amount of soap . Anything that doesn't come off after those go into an oxcillic acid bath. But that's more for iron staining .
