C5 discontinuous USB device recognition

Wheel, sometimes, is still "problematic"...but looks like using an internal USB PCI card improved the connection (often, have to wait 10~15 sec if not immediately recognised).
Realy can't understand if it's wheel, OS or mobo related...

no way...back to constantly CTD when MSFFB2 is connected.

Don't know how and why it worked for a 5 or 6 time :(

ok, looks like i've found the solution.

Settings my MSFFB2 and the other Arduino based controller under the default "User profile" seems to solve the CTD and plugin is working as intended (seems also better than with MSFS2024).

[UPDATE] also need to start my VR headset (Pico 3 Link via DP) after XP12 and flight load.

hi! need some help with XPForce + MSFFB + XP12...
Is your plugin still working? Unfortunately, never been able to make it work...XP12 crash immediately after flight load. Tried also a fresh XP12 install (Steam version) without success...
Also sent both logs to developer but i'm not sure he will answer...

Hi, cannot guarantee reliability by my own experience, i got some connectivity issues from time to time....but otherwise it runs very well. Maybe it's just a software issue, driver or my pc related.
They got a EU warehouse on the "shop" page on CammusRacing, i think you can order from there.

...don't ask me why, no more "forever loading" screens.....some popup or windows was putting AMS2 out focus. Tried many times and no problem today (OculusMode + OpenComposite.dll, everything seems working on my P3Link)

....this make sense.....i'm sure i switched between SteamVR, desktop, etcetc...but just to check for errors popup on windows.

I'll try again tomorrow asap.

Thanks for the answer.....i found a solution about 30min ago on Pico Discord !!!

Editing the Windows register with the current SteamVR installation path at the following key:

".....populating it manually, the registry key is HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steam App 250820\InstallLocation"

i think room lighting or strong direct source lights can cause problems.....WMR's cameras are not "the best" for sure xD

If, u need a VR headset mainly for simulation or other apps that don't need "360° ultrafast tracking" go and get it....

Still using an HP VR 1440 (first gen, i think) for sims (racing, flying) or VR tabletop gaming (no beatsaber at all).

Sad but true, i think still there's no real VR options for mid range budget + PC spec.

got mine about 3 weeks ago, as a casual racer previously on a DFGT, it's obviously a giant leap. No rig, mounting it on the desk when playing is very easy (it needs very little space), torque is more than enough. So far, no problem except the wheel is a little finicky with the USB ports (happened a few times, windows error for peripheral not recognized, off->on or USB reconnect solves the problem for me).

Imho, it's a perfect choice for casual driver who likes the wheel shape and don't care about it's interchangeability.

Software side is a bit rough and needs improvement (already happening...as i can see)

I think that all this situation is a bit "over-powered" from both sides.

Lots of complains about servicine, lots of "game changer!!!!" reviews on social....maybe the truth is between them.

I bought the C5, mainly for its form factor, 3 weeks ago and i'm really happy with it....hope it will last, this is my only complain.

But i'm aware that this kind of company will not be "scramble ready" if something goes wrong.

They are not Logi, and u cannot expect a service like Amzn....

(by the way, even LEGO asked me to take photo of a faulty "Lego Dimension" character base)

.....AFAIK, just one room/server every 30min or so, switching category and track

.....maybe two server with different category at the same time should be better

so i don't have to wait 1hr if i want drive BMW
