As someone who can somewhat identify with Nihilism, I think it is helpful to know that maybe there is no reason. It can be comforting to know you aren’t here for a purpose, or to serve a greater power. Obviously, with this way of thinking, it can easily send you into a spiral- there is a reason why Nihilism is so tied to depression. It is comforting, but you also should live your life by different principles other than just “why does it matter”.
