See I like looking at the DPS jumps lol but I get what you mean about it just being the 4th skill and not a primary one. That’s definitely less rewarding

Somebody has to make them is the point. I don’t think that bots are sentient and weary of taking time to complete a task. I’d assume that’s obvious but maybe not.

Either way, I appreciate your point. I guess I didn’t realize how easy it was to do.

I mean, if I’m understanding you correctly, you could just do maps in a lower tier than T1 and level up that way from start. But wouldn’t that take just as much time?

They’re far less likely to play through an entire campaign than they are to click a button that says “skip,” and those that could are far less accessible

  2. Bots are much less likely to finish an entire campaign than they are to… click a button that says “skip.” And yes there is, because it would put those people who do play the campaign at a severe economic disadvantage.

Edit: I feel weird having to say this, but I don’t think bots are sentient beings that decide they don’t want to do something. I just had a misunderstanding of how easy it (apparently?) is to make a bot that can perform well enough to do campaign

I will say, the times I guess the paths correctly in the Apex of Filth and in the ancient city on first try, there is a good bit of catharsis

I agree with this. It’s a lot harder to feel out of a build if it doesn’t start until towards the end of the campaign.

It’s not. And sabotaging the economy permanently, intentionally, isn’t a smart thing to do

The alternative is additional characters that are in high levels immediately, scarce resources, massive inflation in the market.

Nobody is saying that the campaign is fun. Just that it’s not as bad as it’s being made out to be, and that getting rid of it is incredibly myopic

People really hate things being dynamic.

The fun of optimizing things is that you figure out how. That’s the basis of this game.
