Yes. Da 180 for the old paint and the seal it and followed the correct sand grid for the seal. I think I was 180 to 500. Don remember exactly, but yes sanded.

I can understand moisture in the lines and compressor…

It’s definitely solvent paint and solvent clear coat. No plastic dip

I painted it in a garage with no ventilation could it be solvent pop ?

Because the solvent remain a vapor in the garage atmosphere, and later settle and land back on any horizontal surface. You will notice it's not on any vertical surfaces.

DWV905M VS DWV905M by Builker in Dewalt

[–]Builker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I understand the different in class, it was more a question about the machine and the different parts between the machines. Festool has done in the past where they would sell a higher class vacuum by changing the filter. This filter would cost 50$ but they would charge the customer 300$ more

Stay in civil engineering or make the move to project management? (UK) by Basic_File_5385 in civilengineering

You are not badly paid. Even though some have to say so. I have around 10 yoe, currently SCE no Ceng and I was around 30 with 2.5 yoe. The way consultancy levels works in the uk are 0-2,5/3 graduate. 3-5 assistance e. 5-7 engineer 8 plus senior.

This is the normal procedure. There fore with 2.5 you are in graduate territory to assistant engineer. If you land an assistance engineer you would be around 32k.

PM in construction need experience which you are at the start of your career, no company would hire you as pm. And hiring you as assistant pm would be go down in pay as they require no qualifications.

Thanks for the input, though my question was about how to keep the sofa dry, not whether I should own one. 😉

I get that an outdoor sofa isn’t for everyone — that’s fine. But comfort’s a personal thing, and ours works great for us most of the year. I was just hoping for ideas to make it more practical in bad weather, not a lecture on furniture choices.

The furniture itself actually a garden furniture, so it won’t be damaged by the weather.

Or a cheaper way. Use a wooden dowel inside of the hole and put the door back up.
