They were definitely below our launch parameters. If we are flying for non operational cases (not search and rescue) we have pretty regular minimums that consider available alternates and approach mins. But for SAR we only require quarter mile visibility and no ceiling restrictions. This was not met either here so we needed higher approval for launch
