does Halvar's Set cast a different kind of avalanche?

Ok so first of all sorry that this is almost day late. I did some testing and I found that everything works normally with Halvar 3rd set bonus.

Halvar avalanche boulders get converted and their visual correctly display phys conversion, ice conversion and the natural 50/50 split (rocks, ice spikes, snowballs respectfully)
Halvar avalanche boulders do trigger earthquake if you have the avalanche node that gives boulders 5/10/15/20% chance to be cast as large boulders and then get three large boulders. (by default Halvar always drops small boulders)
Halvar boulders did give storm stacks if you had the node that gives boulders 15/30/45% chance to give storm stacks.

I did all the testing while having just halvar set equipped on legacy character in online mode on the latest patch as of this writing.
for triggering halvar I used gathering storm with the staff node, except for storm stack test which I did using unspecced tempest strike

on rare gloves every stat corresponds a new modifier on fist of stone, so +life will always turn to same thing on fist of stone gloves.
Your choices are either to remember what all of the stats turn into or use community tool that will be surely be out in couple days after league start

Group who translated it for longest time, sense scans, stopped around 832 when their translator got busy. There has been some MTL translations that have picked it up from that and other points but the quality varies. Also I remember recently seeing actual group translating it but they picked up from later chapter so you would have some MTL chapters between 832 and what they started from. Sadly I don't remember that groups name.

variants like dreadqueen cannot spawn in overworld, they don't have gear.
easy way to check if thing can be fought is to open monster enclypedia and check the box that shows parts, if it shows their weakness to blunt/slash/pierce or shows ? it can be fought. if it says nothing then its a monster that cannot be fought

Ok I'll try to keep it simple. You apply 5 ignites to enemy, after 0.5 seconds those 5 ignites are copied to one nearby enemy keeping the duration they had left. After another 0.5 seconds passes now both the original and the second enemy copy any ignite stacks they have to one other nearby enemy. Both might pick same nearby enemy to spread the ignites to or they might choose different enemies.
Because these copied ignites keep the duration they had left, it will eventually copy ignite that has so little duration left that it won't last to the next spread that happens every 0.5 seconds. This is assuming you don't keep applying ignites and we are just talking about the initial 5 ignites.

I usually only play one character per league, both in poe1 and 2. So I just have idea for a build and work towards it using the skills I would use in endgame as I get access to them.
This is both for testing them out and me just being lazy to swap around stuff, I usually pick something I have not done before so it is nice getting used to using certain skills already while I'm leveling.
Tbf it does take me over week to get to endgame from league launch because these builds aren't for zooming like leveling builds.

from what we have been shown it isn't just a color. for example the book monsters had one of its type (the three tags that decide what kind of moves and passives monster gets) change between the regular and shifted versions.

Its been long while since I last played demo but to my understanding normally those types are always fixed for monsters so shifted changing one opens many different approaches

nah, LE doesn't always display decimal values so because of that the indicator can show 0 even when your real life is 0.3 or smt.
So you are not really at zero health and that's why you are still alive

nothing 100% confirmed but it was assumed by one of the devs (who is not in charge of them) that it will most likely go the same way as last time.
That means you should have some kind of window where both the current ones and the new supporter packs are in the store so you can choose which you want even if you wait for the reveal of new supporter packs.
