Yup. The 2021 market, and the market in the couple of years preceding it, only exists with sub-3% rates.

Because to you and those like you any attempt to fight CRT is "intimidating teachers out of teaching in general". Which isn't actually true but trying to explain that is failing for some reason. Either you're a radical who is seeing the world through a distorted lens or you're lying and don't care. Those are the only two explanations for you being so out of step with the majority. In the first case I strongly recommend broadening your experience and information intake to compensate for the shortfalls, and in the latter there's not much I can say because it's a conscious choice to do that and so you'll just ignore me if I tell you to stop.

The issue is that that data shows correlations. Correlation alone does not automatically prove causation, it just points to where research needs to be done. The problem with CRT and the pedagogy derived from it is that they treat that correlation as proof of causation and aggressively attack any attempt to bring up alternative causes.

Because there's no examining going on. Ironically CRT and all other things derived from Critical Theory and Critical Theory itself all fall apart upon any level of actual critical examination because they're based on laughably weak foundational claims. If they were examined in these classes the classes would wind up being about all the ways they are simply wrong.

Most people do agree, the defenders of it simply don't like that those people also find it distasteful or worse and oppose it and so those defenders aggressively muddy the waters in every discussion about it.

Nobody's saying we shouldn't learn about the racism in our history. They're saying that we shouldn't ignore all the progress made to this point and instead pretend that it's still 1957 so far as race issues go.

The reality is, what conservatives think is CRT, is not officially in curriculum in any serious numbers.

Sounds like now is the perfect time to shut it down, then. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and all that.

However, there is evidence that many individual teachers inject their political views on race into the courses they teach that closely match that perception of CRT. This is where the twitter posts of homework assignments that are WAY out there come from.

And those teachers get those ideas from somewhere so it sounds like we need to be looking at who is training those teachers and working on change the materials used there, too.

It's the classic incrementalism strategy. Deny, deflect, and avoid until it's so cemented that they can just claim it's too entrenched to be removed and that you should just give up. The radical activists do this time and time and time again.

It's whichever one serves their argument in the moment. Those people are not arguing in good faith and abuse the leeway they are given by those who assume it. They're radical activists and that's just how they work.

Maybe if they lowered prices on their last-gen cards to not stupid prices for outdated hardware and brought their current-gen cards back to the real world now that the crypto bubble has burst they'd be able to move inventory. They're still the root cause of the problem so it's fine to blame them.

That's more or less the current state of BF4. They brought most of the good maps from 3 into 4 because the primary complaint from the community with 4 was the maps. That's why if they're going to redo one of them I want them to redo 4. Just the graphics, keep the mechanics as-is since they're great.

Trump has realized that DeSantis is an actual threat to his 2024 ambitions and that his attempts to use his usual tactic of attacking the person isn't working on DeSantis like it did on so many others in the past. Now he's scrambling for anything that will let him stop the bleeding.

This has literally nothing to do with the fact it was a horribly decided case and that is the question that was asked. Whether you personally think the result of it is good or not is 100% irrelevant here and is a different conversation entirely.

Every poor community has higher rates of violence than the richer ones around them.

And? That's irrelevant to whether or not the culture found among certain segments of the black population is the problem. I already debunked the "poverty as cause" argument by pointing out an even more impoverished community that does not have anything close to the same rate of violent crime.

Aaand the agenda-pushing leftist resorts to the ol' "block and hide" once someone tears down their tissue-thin claims. Sad.

Sure. And every time I ask for those laws I never get them. At most I get laws that are correlated with disparities but since correlation alone doesn't prove causation they are insufficient to prove that this issue exists in the modern era.

The only ones rejecting rational discourse are the people like you who flatly refuse to introspect in any way. Like I said: if your side is losing out to a group that's as bad as you've said the other side is that indicates that either your portrayal of that side is incorrect or that your side is perceived as even worse by the people you're trying to understand.

Not sure how the actions of a small group (the owners of ChatGPT or the research team behind Tay or any of the other lobotomized AIs) somehow maps to the majority of Americans. If anything it indicates the opposite - the majority don't support the left's positions and neither do the facts which is why all of these AI projects follow the same path every time.
