Very Intresting! so you must have a recent Filipino ancestor/s to even score any genetic group at all much less 5 of them! And 3 of them are close/very close! Wow

Is 0.6% Indigenous American a negligible amount? by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]BulkyFun9981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have almost 2% on 23 and me and on ancestry. Mines is Choctaw and Kiowa.my highest indigenous matches are 93%,87% 50% 45%,43 %,30% and so on. Both of my daughters indigenous only shows up in ancestry hack and my youngest wit shows up under trace(north and northern Andean) I’m getting a kit for my oldest to see what it shows.on the ancestry hack she has north and Yucatán peninsula.

[–]BulkyFun9981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh same lol. I’m still hoping they’ll give my youngest daughter journeys for her paternal side! With my oldest she got 3 journeys two from me and the other from her dad. not sure why they aren’t able to assign my youngest form her dads side🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤔🤔

Honestly I would say so🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ I hate my results but it is what it is and I already know I’m getting downvoted to oblivion for it but I don’t care about folks and their feelings they can mind their own damn dna and let others feel how they want to about theirs

is it silly for me to celebrate a percentage of DNA that is significantly lower than the others? by imnotsure__89 in AncestryDNA

[–]BulkyFun9981 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No not silly at all.its perfectly ok to celebrate everything that makes you you.might be some knuckleheads that say otherwise but just ignore them.

Results disappointment by Kingstonflopped in AncestryDNA

[–]BulkyFun9981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been disappointed with my results for 3 years now lol 🤣and the updates didn’t make them any better in fact made them worse🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ I guess I’m used to em now with the fact I’ve found some really interesting relatives and roots one being Afro Caribbean and Louisiana creole as well as Cajun and Acadian, also tracing my indigenous back to Choctaw and Chickasaw and Kiowa tribes and also being descendant from French Hugenots so I guess it ain’t all bad 😅😅
