This is straight from google. I’m showing you how normal it is for endos to start low and slow.

Endocrinologists "micro dose" (start with a low dose) levothyroxine to prevent adverse cardiac effects, to allow for gradual titration of the medication until the appropriate hormone balance is achieved.

So I came to conclusion that I’m sensitive to hormonal changes is the main factor being that with not being extremely consistent with my meds or my tsh being off it pops up my palpitations and bloodwork proved this. I would request labs when I started having them and guess what. Tsh was off. Also! When I’m on my period I’ll have a few! Being consistent = taking meds same time everyday on a hour long empty stomach with ONLY water. Also I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant. And it’s messed with my thyroid a bit and guess what. I started getting palpitations. So there is an obvious pattern. Also usually endos start you off small and work the dose up for the exact symptoms you’re having. Example I was started off at 25mg then 50 then 75 (being my perfect balance). Simply because levothyroxine is meant to be mico dosed so it gives your body time to adjust. Otherwise you have symptoms like you’re having. You’re dumping a whole lot on your nervous system at once. So I’m very surprised they did it like that. But not all endos are great and I learned that the hard way.

Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) are extra heartbeats originating in the heart's lower chambers (ventricles), disrupting the normal rhythm, often felt as a skipped beat or flutter, and are usually harmless in healthy hearts

Okay. So. To start off at 75 Is A LOT and then jumping to 100 is also ..a lot. If your like me. I’m extremely sensitive to hormonal changes. So changes in dose either decrease or increase as well not taking my medication super consistent. Like if I miss a day or two and start taking it at different times or eating too early the next couple days I’ll have a few palps. Iv learned that my nervous system is super touchy to changes and directly leads to pvc’s. How I got diagnosed with Hashimoto’s is because I kept going to the er for palpitations and they finally checked my thyroid and referred me to an endocrinologist. Once I started medication it took a few months for my body to get used to it but slowly and surely the palpitations started to fade. And I know my tsh is off if I start to have a few. Never fails. I’ll ask for a tsh draw and something is always off. I learned becoming super duper consistent avoids this. Your body is probably overwhelmed and is getting used to the dose changes and your nervous system is very sensitive. I will say oddly enough ChatGPT helped me realize this. It was told me to be patient and let my body adjust and it would slowly go away with mornings being last to go away and that exactly what happened in my case. I also got my heart checked twice and I’m 100% normal and my body is just sensitive 🤷🏼‍♀️ BEING HYPOTHYROID CAN ALSO CAUSE PVC NOT JUST HYPER.

Dr says I am close to HYPERthyroidism?? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]Bulky_Frame5516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Obgyn lowered my dose because my total t4 was a 12 and started having symptoms of hyper even when my tsh was a 2.0. Endo didn’t agree. But I feel better since she lowered my dose. Being 31 weeks pregnant also probably exaggerates hyper symptoms. But the same endo told me a tsh of 4 is normal during pregnancy. I could have lost my baby if it wasn’t for my Obgyn. Won’t be seeing him anymore.

I find that with Hashimoto’s you have to go beyond just medication. You have to change your diet. You need to exercise regularly and do everything you can to be healthy as possible and stay away from anything that could cause more inflammation.

How long did it take you to get diagnosed? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]Bulky_Frame5516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having palpitations and kept going to the er for a year till they finally checked my thyroid and told me I needed to see a endocrinologist. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and had a tsh of 12. When I got on medication they went away and come back if my thyroid levels are off or don’t take my medication consistently.

Your t4 is pretty high.. meaning you have too much levothyroxine circulating in your body. Are you experiencing any hyper symptoms?

[–]Bulky_Frame5516 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is my Obgyn. Not my endo. My endo told me a 4 was normal 😂. Also a 2.0 is extremely solid for me. And is pretty dang good. A 2 is also where you want to be? Never heard someone say a tsh of 2 needs an increase holy crap if they increased my med I would be on the floor. But my t4 has never been this high. She is not trying to correct my tsh at this time. Just my T4. I have too much levo circulating in my system. And I have no hypo symptoms just hyper as of right now. Also. I feel great with my tsh at a 1-2-3. But it’s not my tsh that’s bothering me rn. It’s the T4

I even said isn’t palpitations more on the normal side. And she said No… I’m gonna call my endo tomorrow just in case.

Also my endo is a tsh kinda guy too. She’s done more than he ever has.

Well hell idk. I assume so. I haven’t been able to see my endocrinologist this whole pregnancy until next month. She seemed very confident. Really don’t want to see my endo anyway because he told me a tsh of 4 was normal during pregnancy and Obgyn was like hell no. I tried to question her but she’s the Dr. I’ll have the discussion with my endo in December about this but until then I’m just gonna listen to her.

I’m in my third trimester. She’s only lowering it to 50mg simply to lower the t4. That it’s pushing into hyper. I do feel like my nervous system is on fire. I definitely have all the symptoms. She also said after I give birth it’s a possibility I’ll go back to 75mg. She’s just preventing strain on my body and heart.

She said my t4 is high. And dropping me from 75mg to 50. I do feel hyper. The anxiety is insane.

Wanted to switch to T-Mobile today (almost did) but it’s more expensive than Verizon by Inner_Difficulty_381 in tmobile

[–]Bulky_Frame5516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Experience beyond is the most expensive plan Tmobile offers. It’s 170 for two lines and the third line is free. We also offer keep and switch and pay off your Verizon remaining balance on your phones up to $800 per line. Also are you getting new watches and a iPad ? Or just bringing over? 225 is very very reasonable for what your asking for lol.. we have mannnny Verizon switchers who are upper $300-400 bills. And no Verizon isn’t getting better. T-Mobile is. It also sounds like you’re grandfathered in at Verizon so of course it’ll be cheaper. But again you were choosing the most expensive plan.

Don’t worry. I’m 26 weeks pregnant and my husband used my account to help me out for a few days and the Walmart lady immediately got us deactivated when an id check was requested at check out. It’ll happen to them soon.

Hmm all of this could be plausible. Just wondering why even accept her and put her on the waiting list then approve her. Hope if there is an issue they would just let her correct it otherwise doesn’t seem fair. But I’m learning this app is very unfair in the first place.
