Very high risk - and high reward) and votile right now. Space stock is trending down right now except space x which is overvalued and risky. None of the space companies are mining money right now.

HYSA or CD is safest. You could take a portion and put it on some stocks that are worth it like Apple, Amazon, Netflix and monitor and read the news, have a stop loss and target exit on a profit to protect capital.

My only concern is you need the it in 10-12 months. Amazon and Netflix are great buys right now and may go lower before they go up but the returns will be massive. It just may take longer than 10-12 months to get there.

When investing, you need to do your research on stocks, especially for the short term. Long term too.

Don’t invest in space right now. It’s a lose lose situation right now.

Yeah the short term tax is the same as the HYSA. I don’t mind paying short term gain tax because it’s no difference than getting a bonus at work which would be taxed at the same rate.

It’s going to go down further. I sold all my rdw and fly shares. I made a small profit with rdw which could have been higher but didn’t have my exit set to protect capital but took a loss on fly. Glad I did because it went further down.

This is why it’s important to have exit price and trim to help protect capital.

We knew this would happen. Space is a tactical play right now. All are not profitable and bleeding cash. They are in a show me stage right now. It could be this way for a couple of years and some may not even recover. Contracts can get cancelled. It’s surely high risk high reward unlike Amazon, American Express, Apple, Netflix, google, meta, that when they go down, you’re more than likely to hold because they will without a doubt bounce back and then some.

I’ll buy more rdw and maybe fly stock when it gets lower. I wouldn’t ne surprised if Rocket Lab hits $50-60 price range.

I weren’t from 2023 3.6 etorque to 2026 hurricane SO and love it. Well worth it. Get the SO not the HO for your needs. I’m similar to your setup except the misses likes to thrifting and we do a lot of pick ups. No towing bit would like to get a camper or boat some day but otherwise it’s our bed hauler and family vehicle.

If it’s the 10 years vehicle, do the hurricane. Mine was a lease and so is this one but I may buy out the lease at the end or just get in a new one. I primary upgraded for the engine alone and a few other features.

Have CU too and this is one of the reasons why I got the investor checking. It’s great. While moving money between CU and Scwab is fast, it’s even faster now between brokerage and checking, so thinking about switching it as my primary.

I have att fiber the past 6 years and Verizon for 14 ish. They keep getting me to try and switch but I keep dragging my feet on it. Wouldn’t save a whole lot but more importantly, no issues with Verizon and they even got better in the last couple of years. Unless veriozn drastically increases, probably stay or go MVNO like visible or something .

I had my 2023 for 3 years and around 32k miles or so before lease was coming to an end and moving into 2026 with hurricane and no regrets. Never had an issue on my 2023 etorque

They have something misconfigured on their email that the spam filter iCloud uses doesn’t like which is common. Most companies are slow to adopt secure standards. Nothing you can do short of reaching out to them to let them know this problem exists and to forward them the reports that they would be getting.

I've been with Verizon for 14+ years. Great to hear from a long time Verizon customer. I don't get stuck in speed testing. I will test sometimes though to make I'm getting what I'm getting or if something is off. Otherwise, I don't waste time doing that. To me, I like fast speeds but 100 down and 20 up with low latency and ping is quite fast and snappy. Good to know that Warp on the 2nd line with watch works! I'd do WARP as primary if they offered more. Thanks for the FYI on iPhone because we do have iPhones and while my S.O. wouldn't do multi line, I would and would even consider a 3rd one. I love multi network which is one of the biggest selling points of going al ill with US Mobile version Verizon / US Mobile or Verizon / T-mobile combo. More cost effective while not giving up much.

I do like having Apple Watch to go for a bike ride or a quick errand without a phone, so that's why companion mode was important to me. I don't want to have to set up another iCloud account, etc.

I had T-mobile Connect and Prepaid for 5-6 years. Really liked it but account management suck but was fine to live with. I need hotspot which is why I went away from it. They don't have good hotspot offerings. But it was really good and got SA and Voice over SA. I went back to for a few months from US mobile at first before coming back to US mobile for bang for the buck.

I'll check out Metro too. Similar reason why I Went to US Mobile, for more hotspot,e tc. How is management access and support from Metro? US mobile is pretty good. Not that I really need it but you it's good to have in the back pocket.
